Many of you have mentioned the story in which John stands with his arms outstretched in the middle of a shooting, so I thought we could talk about (what is said) that actually happened there.John was leading a light infantry and militia in the Siegue of Savanah (September 16-October 20, 1779) which was another American loss.
So there is a story telling that John threw down his sword and stood on the fiel with his arms outstretched and said "My honor does not permit me to survive the disgrace of this day".
Well too bad for your honor because you'll survive three more years. Oh John, you reckless, honor obsessed idiot, just give yourself a break man.
