Heather's POV
I stepped out of my apartment and waved my hand in the air trying to hail a taxi.

As the taxi pulls up I tell the driver where I need to go. As the taxi rattles along the street, we come to a sudden stop.

"This is as far as I can take you." the driver says. "

That's fine." I say with a sigh. I pay him and step out into the cold air of New York City. I start to look around looking for the studio, as soon as I saw it down the street a little bit my slow pace turns into a fast walking. Suddenly I felt someone ram into me. I dropped my sheet music all around me.

"Oh my God! I am so sorry!" Someone says. I looked up and the most handsome man I have ever seen in my whole life was standing with his hand stretched out before me.

"No no let me apologize, I'm really clumsy." I say taking his hand.

"Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Jack." He says shaking my hand.

"Heather." We stand there in silence until he finally says.

"Once again I'm so sorry for running into you."

"No it's fine I was just on my way to an audition down the street."

"That explains your sheet music and bags." He says, "Can I help you carry your stuff down the street?" I nod and he takes my bag in his arms.

"So Heather," he finally says as we start walking, "I can tell you aren't from around here."

I shake my head. "No I'm from Texas, I moved here two weeks ago and finally landed my first audition today." "

Well let me tell you something about New Yorkers, not all of them are going to stop and help you when you fall down, and you need to know where your going at all times. So how about after your audition I take you out for coffee and I take you on a personal tour of New York City."

I start to feel my cheeks get hot.

"I'd love to." He starts to smile,

"Great." He says as he opens the door to the studio.
