"That was completely uncalled for!" Adrien shouts at his father.

"You know the rules, Adrien," Gabriel says. "You broke those rules, so it was not at all uncalled for."

Nathalie suddenly appears behind Gabriel, and he whirls around to face her. "And you," he says, pointing a finger at her. "You should have known better than to let anyone in to see him!"

"But sir, she said she had a business proposition for him," Nathalie says.

"I don't care!" Gabriel shouts. "You knew the rules too, and as my assistant you are supposed to uphold them!" He growls angrily and adds, "Another mistake like this, and I'll be finding a new assistant!"

"You can't be serious," Nathalie says worriedly.

"Oh, I am," Gabriel says gravely. "It would be easy! You're nothing but a tiny ant, in the grand scheme of things." He then stomps past her, and out of the room.

Nathalie stands there for a moment, completely dumbfounded. Then she stomps away too, looking angrier than Adrien has ever seen her.

"I'm so sorry about that, girl," Alya says as she and Marinette walk away from the Agreste mansion. "I really thought that would work."

"It's okay," Marinette says, looking depressed but still trying to smile. "It was really sweet of you to try. Plus, I did get to see Adrien for a little bit."

"Yeah, all of two seconds," Alya says.

"But what a great two seconds it was!" Marinette says with a small giggle. She then gives Alya a hug. "I don't know what I'd do without you."

"Well, I doubt you'd be with Adrien right now," Alya laughs. Then she adds, "Just kidding! I'm sure it would have happened... eventually."

After the two friends part ways, Tikki pokes out of Marinette's purse. "So what are you going to do about Adrien now?" She asks.

"I don't know," Marinette sighs. "But I'm sure we'll figure something out..." She sits down on the nearest bench, trying to come up with something –anything– she can do. "Ugh... is it horrible that I almost wish someone would get Akumatized so I can see him?"

Suddenly, they hear screaming in the distance. "From the sound of things, you may get your wish!" Tikki says.

Marinette jumps up from the bench and runs down the street, Tikki trailing behind her. Frightened people run past them, and through the crowd they spot a woman flying through the air. She has short, red hair and red antennae on her head. Her bright red outfit appears to resemble a fire ant, and her bug-like wings glimmer in the sunlight.

"I am the Assist-ANT," the woman announces menacingly. "I will no longer be taken for granted!" She points a large, staff-like item that Marinette can only describe as a giant fountain pen at the crowd of running people, and with a blast of red light they all turn into huge ants. "You say I'm nothing but an ant? Well, see how much damage ants can cause!"

Marinette gasps as all the ants begin to crawl every which way throughout the city. A large group of them works together to lift a billboard up, and throw it through a shop window. Any other people who run, scream, or try to hide are hit by the Assist-ANT's weapon and turned into ants, as she cackles evilly all the while.

Marinette attempts to find a place to hide and transform, but before she gets the chance she hears the Assist-ANT call out her name.

"Um, do I know you?" Marinette asks nervously.

"Of course you do," the Assist-ANT says with a snarl. "You are the one who got me in trouble with my boss! You are the one who nearly got me fired!"

"I'm sorry about that," Marinette says, still not recognizing this person. "But I really don't know what you're talking about."

The Assist-ANT glares at her. "No, of course you wouldn't. Nobody notices the hard work I do!" She points her weapon at Marinette. "I work as hard as an ant, and this is the thanks I get!" A red light glows at the end of the giant pen, and shoots out towards Marinette. Unable to do anything about it, Marinette just screams.
