3rd POV: Location: Beacon Academy:

The spec-ops team were nearing the entrance with their new prisoner when they met a girl in a dress holding a scythe of some kind who looked at them with curiosity and shock.

The moment was broken when Gik appeared in front of Ruby holding his energy cutlass forcing her to block. The two slashed at each other while the spec-ops team, prisoner and hurgok sneaked around the fight and cloaked their way to the phantom without being noticed. Ruby finally was able to disarm Gik by firing a shot from Crescent Rose. The force caused Gik to lose his grip on his weapon leaving him defenseless as Ruby pointed the scythe's barrel in his face.

"Who are you? Or more importantly who are you and your friends..." before realizing that the entire spec-ops teams was gone except for Jaune (who was still wearing his helmet). During the realization Jaune rushed forward with both knives drawn and slashed at her forcing her to dodge back allowing Gik to grab his energy cutlass and run off using his semblance leaving behind a trail of golden feathers.

Jaune took a good look at Ruby and remembered his time at Beacon after everyone found out about his transcripts. It was a bad time, but he had enough support to keep him going... for a time at least.

Jaune sighed and looked at Ruby who stood in his way as he tried to walk past her.

"Ruby, are you going to yell and mock me like the rest?" Jaune asked her. Instead of Ruby yelling or screaming at him her eyes became teary and rushed forward hugging him, it wasn't a kind of romantic hug but more of a friendly comfort hug. Something he really needed.

"It doesn't matter that you lied to get in, your still my friend Jaune," Ruby said as she tried to clear her eyes as she broke away from the hug. Jaune smiled at this.

"Thanks, Ruby, it's nice to know I still have you."

"Well it just looks like it's you and me" Ruby stated as she got into a fighting stance right before only this time she almost tripped over herself from her heels. Jaune noticed this and took the advantage by slashing non-lethally at her a few times causing her to stumble backwards before she was caught by Jaune sister. 

Jaune noticed the new arrival her twin sister Joan Arc, she never wanted to become a huntress but rather wished for a normal life that didn't have to do much with fighting. This made Jaune curious to why she was here and more importantly why was she was carrying a repaired 'Crocea Mors' with her.

"Hey you! Why don't take off that helmet and show us who were really fighting!" The Arc sister yelled out to Jaune as she helped Ruby ge back to her feet.

'How ironic, they still don't understand who they are really fighting besides me.' The betrayed Arc thought. (Jaune doesn't know of Salem's existence but does know that Ozpin is fighting a secret war with another opponent, he knows this by looking back into memories of how Ozpin talks or acts)

Jaune stayed silent toward his sister and stared at them menacinglywhile the other two prepared by Joan pulling out Crocea Mors while Ruby was getting into her fighting stance.

Jaune knew he could win but he wanted to sow fear and doubt into them, this would make them easier to fight with. He pulled out a bloodied strip of white cloth with the Arc symbol on it from his belt holding in his right hand with grip but enough for the others to see.
