3rd POV: 

Location: Atlas Military Research Base, Atlas:

Time: Ten Days After Shipmaster Arc's Capture:

A rather large military complex was overshadowed by a large ice cliff that had sheltered from the extreme cold and the icy storms. Normally being this far out would cause people to freeze up even with protective suiting. However, the cliff combined with the hot-springs that laid underneath it kept the isolated environment safe enough for humans to survive.

The whole base was surrounded by rather high walls lined with auto-turrets while the corners of the base had watch-towers to look over it. There were several buildings incased within. Smacked in the middle was the main research center. It was surrounded by other smaller buildings such as the barracks, massive generators that kept the base running, and several other structures.

Its almost inaccessible location added with security was due to the fact it was a base built in secret by the Atlas Military for weapons research. It was the very same place where the paladin was first proposed and its prototypes tested. A wealth of knowledge and power secured in a safe location.

"This is Shadow-6 on comms. Targets are in my sights, over."

"This is Shadow-2 through 4. Were in position, over."

"This is Shadow-Leader. Prepare to engage. The scrambler will only worked for so long, over."

"Copy that."

Several of the guards that operated the watch-towers slumped over with bullet holes that went straight through their helmets and into their head. Each and every one of them were unnoticed. On the other part of facility three figures coated in advanced armor coated in layer of white paint snuck from their hiding spots and crept toward the objective. 

In front of the main generator two guards were standing at their post.

"Hey?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you ever wonder why were here?"

"It's one of life's greatest myst-"

The guard was cut off as a silenced round impacted his head. The second guard gasped as the first one slumped to the ground. He then lifted his rifle, but he to was shot in an identical manner.

Wordlessly the trio lined up against the door, as one of them removed the panel that connected to door.

"Prepare to breach." One of them whispered as they readied their weapons.

The slid open and all three rushed in, weapons ready.

The guards scattered inside the base were easy to remove with only a few bursts from their silenced rifles. Alarms had yet to go off as the jam had worked and had disrupted many of the security measures and communications along the base. 

They finally came across the main room. Behind the door they knew that it would be incredibly guarded, though if they managed to pull it off then they would be able to get a hold of their prize.

"Shadow-Leader, this is Shadow-3. We have arrived at the objective. Waiting for your signal, over." One of the soldiers said as they placed their finger to the side of their helmet to activate comms.

"Roger that. You may proceed, over."

Wordlessly Shadow-3 had got off comms and nodded to his fellow operatives.
