I was fast asleep when I heard a gentle but firm knock on the door.

My eyes fluttered. I shook Gwen awake.

"Hey," She said, grumpily. "What's wrong?"

I sat up and answered the door. I glanced at the door. 8:19 AM.

Bright and cheery Elizabeth stepped in.

"How are my kiddos?" She asked, as if they were babies.

"Good mom," She answered.

"Peter is still asleep," I said.

Elizabeth shook him awake.

"Hey Alexia," Gwendelen said. "Wanna play for the rest of the day?"

"Sure!" I answered. "Sounds great!"

"Awesome!" Gwen said.

I reached up. The crown that Gwen had given me was still on my head.

Then, I just remembered. LUCAS.

"Wait," I said.

"What is it?" Gwen asked, nervously.

"I'm so sorry Gwen, but I am busy today."

Gwen slouched.

"Gwendelen, dear," Elizabeth said sternly. "Give her a break. She's 14, and she's queen. She's a busy person. Plus, you've got an age difference. Chill out."

Gwen nodded, slightly being her old shy self for the second.

"See you later, Gwen." I said.

Gwen smiled and waved.

The twins and Elizabeth left.

Okay, so a list of things to do.

1. Announce breakfast.

2. Eat breakfast

3. LUCAS

I didn't know what would happen for the rest of the day. But I was excited. Today was the 15th. Tomorow would be my birthday!!

I went into the bathroom and got ready. I curled my hair slightly, into nice even waves, with a pearl white dress. I had matching pearl white shoes. I would change into comfortable clothes before going to Lucas.

I headed down the curvy stairway.

I went into the anouncement room.

"Breakfast!" I said, cheerfully. "Please come by 8:30. Crème Brûlée will be served with tea of coffee."

I walked proudly walked into the breakfast room. It was packed with people.

I saw Gwendelen's family sitting in the corner, talking.

I coughed. They looked at me.

Come sit here, I mouthed.

Gwen whispered to her mother and they moved to the large table. I sat in the middle. Many people and guests came and ate breakfast.
