When I woke up, there was light. Someone was calling me.
"Alexia?!" Someone asked.
That was Mother!!
I quickly replied, "Yes Mother?"
"Oh, Alexia, time to move out of the basement!! I got you a new room in the Palace."
I didn't know what to say.
"Th-thank you," I stuttered.
Soon, I followed her up and I realized what a large palace this place was.
I saw so many rooms. I was stunned.
Mother led me to this large room with a bed in the corner and a small desk. There was a large chandelier hanging from the ceiling. Their were to large arm chairs in the middle of the room. It was much better than the basement.
I didn't know what to say. We were both silent at first. It was really awkward. Then, I did something I never thought that I would ever do.
I took a small step forward. I smiled. Then, I hugged her.
