renjun cleared his throat pointedly and looked away. donghyuck's face fell and jeno kicked renjun's shin, earning a glare from the chinese boy. mark made an awkward face and took donghyuck's hand.

"donghyuck-" jeno began.

"don't talk to him," renjun grumbled.

"you've already spoken to him," jeno hissed.

"i don't want to speak to him anymore," renjun snapped.

donghyuck rolled his eyes, giving mark's hand a squeeze.

"you know, i'd be able to take you a whole lot more seriously if your head wasn't fucking covered in bleach," donghyuck scoffed.

"you don't look any less ridiculous yourself," renjun retorted.

the two scowled at each other for a few seconds before bursting into laughter. jeno shook his head and laughed, and mark found himself chuckling at how silly the two old friends were being.

"you seriously look like an egg," renjun snorted.

"you look like someone's fucking buttered your head, bitch," donghyuck wheezed. "god," he said, catching his breath back, "are you still going to sit there and ignore me?"

renjun huffed. "okay, fine," he conceded, rolling his eyes, "i'm being silly."

"yes, you are," donghyuck agreed.

"so are you, you're still keeping away from us!" renjun pointed out.

donghyuck set his jaw. "maybe that's because i don't feel welcome," he mumbled.

jeno sprung from his seat and grabbed donghyuck in the tightest hug ever. "donghyuck, i missed you," he stated, "don't ever say you're not welcome with us."

renjun looked vaguely jealous but shook it off.

"jeno," donghyuck said in a strangled tone, trying to wrestle the bigger boy off.

"sorry," jeno giggled, but didn't let go, "i need to make up for all the hugs you didn't get this whole time."

donghyuck sighed, tears pricking at his eyes. "don't make me fucking cry, lee jeno. i swear to god."

jeno gave a grin and released him, returning to renjun's side. "can we be friends again? please?" he pouted.

"if that's okay with everybody," donghyuck replied with sass.

renjun threw him a look. "okay, bitch," he told him, "let's be friends again. i'm over all this stress."

"sorry to be the cause of all the angst," donghyuck said with a shrug. "well, nice to actually see you guys again."

jeno and renjun exchanged a grin, and jeno grabbed the chinese boy's hand, holding it to his chest. renjun paled and tried to wrestle his hand out of jeno's grip.

"don't even bother," donghyuck drawled, "it's about time you two got together."

renjun went from ashen-faced to bright red, and jeno's brows shot up.

"you knew?" he uttered.

"you knew?" renjun echoed accusingly.

donghyuck smirked. "please, i was your best friend, bitch. it was inevitable."

renjun spluttered as jeno's gaze went to mark, who was still sitting there beside donghyuck.

"tea, ladies?" minseok said, only half-jokingly as he brought a tray of small mugs over to them.

"thanks," mark said with a smile, accepting a blue mug, and handing a red one to donghyuck. renjun and jeno also took tea and minseok went to take the last cup to another customer.
