7.Here Comes Trouble! Oops!

Ken Marshall's POV

"Bye bro!!" My younger brother waved at me as he entered his school. I drop him off every morning then set off for my own classes. I'm really liking it here in this new environment. The people here are really friendly and hospitable.

Especially Medley..

My inner thoughts ringed.

Well.... I can't deny it... She's a really sweet girl who's ever ready to help anyone in need. And I like that about her. I like it the way she blushes so easily. It's really cute. Though she may look like she's not friendly, trust me. She is. Though people may judge her basing on her dressings.. Or behavior...she's different from how they judge her. There is a sense of independence in her and a caring and gentle heart. She's naive sometimes though. Haha..

"Ken! Good morning!!" It was Lis. One of Medley's best friend.

"Good morning Lis!" I gave her a smile.

"Has Med arrived?" I ask.

"Ooohh? Someone's impatient to meet Med!" Ayla comes with a smirk.

Guess I am...?

"No.. It's nothing like that. Since she's always early.. Was just asking.." Wow... I just denied the fact.

Just then.. She comes.

"Good morning guys." She gives us her sweet smile which can melt your heart. Then.. The thought that she agreed to go on a date with me.... You don't know how it feels.... I'm really happy.. And nervous as well......

Lunch break...

We're gathered to have lunch together.. And seems like Medley hasn't arrived. Lis and Ayla are already here.
Guess I should check out...

"Guys.. I'll be right back." Then I darted off to the hallway. No sign. Then.. The washroom area.. As I was walking towards that way.. I see two figures. Looks like a couple. As I move closer.... I get a familiar sight of the figures. It's Medley....and....a guy???

Her boyfriend??

No.. It can't be.. But she's not close with any other guy except me....

I lean in closer to listen to what they are talking about.

"Be prepared for the date on Saturday." The guy told her, more like order her.

"Sure I will. I'm really nervous and excited." Medley replied with so much ease..

Could it be about our date? Then why is she talking about it with him?
Or.. Has she decided to turn down my proposal?
This is not a good feeling...at all.
I couldn't bear this and so I barge into their meeting.

"Hey Med!" She seemed to have startled. Then she looked at that guy.. And then to me.

"K-Ken! Hi! Uhh... What are you doing here?" Seems like she didn't want to see me here. The guy just shrugged and went off.

"I was looking for you. Who was that guy?" I'm really confused.

"Uhhmm..... We're like... Uhh.. Colleagues." She seemed nervous.

Colleagues? Why would they discuss about a date? This is not right.

"Okay. Well...let's get going. They're waiting for you."
I don't want to bother her about it. Maybe it's just a misunderstanding. Maybe she needs time to tell me....

I hope it's not what I'm afraid of... I hope she's not taken..

The classes went on normally and we're all set to go home. Lis and Ayla went early as they had some work. So I'm left alone with Med.
We both walk towards the gate when we see that guy and a blondie kissing as they lean on a black SUV.
