Katty's P.O.V.
I was outside on the back porch and Nathan came out to join me. He sat down next to me, and I could tell he had something to say.
"What? I know you want to speak, so do it."
"Do you truly care about Nate? He is my little brother and I don't want to see him hurt."
"Yes I do. If I didn't, I wouldn't still be here. I don't linger around people I don't really care for."
"Then why are you here instead of inside with him?"
"Dark pissed me off, and I didn't want to hurt anyone. I stepped out to cool off, though I suppose it's been long enough."
"That's my point, he needs you. He's about to have a mental breakdown."
"Why? What could possibly b-"
"Because he thinks you left and aren't out here on the porch. He won't come look himself out of fear that he'll be disappointed with himself because he let you be alone again."
"Well tell him to come out here, I don't want to get mad at Dark again, because I know that he won't say sorry yet."
"Alright fine." He went inside. "Nate! Come outside for a bit!"
Nate walked out the back door and before I could even look at him he wrapped his arms around my waist and put a leg on each side of me to sit down.
"I'm not leaving you, Nate."
"I know, I was just worried that Dark had made you so mad that you went into the woods again."
"No... I'm giving your heart a break from being broken... Anti told me about her. The girl you loved before you changed and lost her to the one who made you like this. He wouldn't tell me her name though."
"Her name was Mina... The guy who changed me said she didn't deserve such a pleasure. But I didn't see any of this a good thing... he had then left and done the same to Nathan, Morgan, Dark, Amy, Anti and Evelien. I tried to stop him, but I was unskilled and weak. someone he had changed before me got to him first and killed him... I didn't care though, as long as he couldn't hurt anyone else."
"I'm sorry, Nate... I love you."
"I love you, too... *sniff* Katty."
I had known all along how much he did, but it has become even clearer now. He needs me.
