Rule braking

The next day I was tacking up Eclipse because we were going to work hard to put Alison down. We were going to jump higher than I have jumped before with Eclipse, I was going to see how he went. I think that when I was tacking up I was gossiping more with Heather than doing what I had to do. I had filled her in with all of the details of yesterday's issue. Today i was going to be busy. I was going to jump with Eclipse this morning and then I was going work Mandala. I was also going tail riding with Heather and later in the day I was going to work with Lightning. He was doing better every day,Rebecca even said that they might not sell him. On Friday she was going to ride him and see how it went. I walked into the uncovered ring and worked with Eclipse.
After a while of flatwork, I set up a few jumps at three feet, at the beggening I was worried that my kind of green horse wasn't going to make it, but when I was on him cantering towards the first vertical I put all my faith in him. He loved jumping and so did I. I knew that we could get over those jumps. Eclipse lifted off and I crouched on his neck in a two point position. We had gone over the first one. Five, four,three,two,one,go! As if on cue, on go Eclipse took off. Just like the first two, we cleared the last one, I was proud of my horse!
"Good job boy!" I said to him rubbing his neck. We went over the jumps a couple of more times and then I cooled him and washed him off.
I went to the pasture to grab Mandala so they I could work her. I was attaching the lounge line to her when Alison came up to me. Sigh.
"Oooh, are you working your lame horse so that you can spend your last moments with her?" She asked wiping the only horse hair off hunter green top. This made me look down at my top, all covered in horse hairs and sweat.
"I am not spending my last moments with her, I am working her so that in a few weeks when I can ride her she still will be fit. Naw that you know, go away!" I said annoyed.
"As you say Amber." She said smirking, she was up to something, I knew it.

Later in the day I went for a trail ride with Heather, she was riding Hazelnut an I was riding Eclipse. We went through our favorite trail gossiping and laughing. Heather was a good friend, not like Lucy that dumped me for that spoiled brat, Alison, or like Lucy called her Ali.

It was the longest trail that Goldenleaf had, it was also full of cross country jumps that I looooved.
"Shall we go over some of the jumps?" I asked "just to practice."
"Okay" She said "what about if we jump the log and then the gate?"
I agreed and she went first. Hazelnut popped over it with ease and Heather signals me to go. I asked Eclipse to canter and we flew over it, I loved every second of it.
We were trotting to get closer to the gate when Elizabeth appeared on a pinto horse, Treasure. Elizabeth walked up,to us and when I saw her face I noticed she was mad. Had she seen us go over the log? We knew we were not supposed to do that without someone watching us, but we did anyway because Elizabeth wasn't around. I was nervous, would she ban us from the stable? Questions and worries raced through my mind.
"I can't believe that both of you went over that log." She said angrily. I bit my bottom lip, this was not going to end well " you could have gotten hurt, I trusted you both.l" She boomed. She was really mad. She scolded us and told us to go back, I wanted to ask why she was there but I chickened out.
We got to the barn in silence and we dismounted we passed the stalls to our trainers office and when we were inside, we got lectured by Elizabeth and scolded as well.
