Will woke up again to the sun beaming through his windows. He slowly sat up and yawned, stretching his stiff limbs. Turning over to stand up, he saw someone slowly open the door and come inside, smile slightly when seeing Will.
"Finally, he has risen." Nico joked.
"Very funny. Why are you in my cabin?" Will asked.
Nico seemed to stifle a laugh and motioned his arms wide. "Just in case you haven't noticed, this is my cabin."
Will looked and payed more attention to his surroundings. Sure enough, this cabin was darker and there were two beds- one in dark purple, and another in pure black. There was a dark carpet on the flood and the curtains were grey.
Yup, Nico's cabin.
"You fell asleep here, remember? I woke up this morning and didn't wanna wake you up. You just seemed cu-like you needed it."
Will shrugged off the cut off comment. "What time is it?"
"It's 3 pm, actually."
"How?!" Will shrieked, checking the time for himself. Sure enough, it was 3 pm.
"You worked hard, Solace. Sleep is necessary."
"Yeah, but not for..." Will took the moment to count and muttered the numbers to himself and gasped once he was done, "17 hours!"
"Stop arguing with me about health, you're supposed to know this, you're a healer."
Will grumbled and looked out the window. Campers were walking about or training, doing whatever plans they had for that day.
"Wanna maybe hang with the gang? I asked you yesterday and you said sure." Nico reminded, walking over to Will.
"Uh, sure, just let me get ready." Will replied.
"Alright, I'll leave you to it. Just fix your hair, it's everywhere."
Will tried slightly combing his hair before giving up and just fixing it back at his cabin. He began walking out the door and had it in his hand before looking back.
"Thanks for, um, letting me sleep in."
Nico perked up at the sudden speaker and waved his hands for Will to leave. "No problem."
*** *** *** ***
Will exited his cabin, his hands stuffed in the pockets of his shorts. It was confirmed that the gang was gonna meet up at the strawberry fields to just take their minds off things and mess around. Nico was closer to the gang that Will was, so he agreed and told Will the information.
That reminded him, he slept at Nico's cabin.
In Nico's bed.
The mere thought of that made him want to melt into a puddle. Damn that was such a thought.
As Will blanked out while walking, something hit him in the chest that made him zone back in. He looked over and apparently while he was in his auto-pilot mode, he had managed to make it to the strawberry fields. Everyone was there, talking and having some fun as they sat down on a huge blanket that fit more than just them.
Will picked up the object that had been thrown at him.
A bottle of Sunny D.
"Hey, if it ain't Sunny D! Sit down!" Percy waved over.
Will did as told and sat between Nico and Leo. He got the bottle of Sunny D and threw it back at Percy's stomach, which made the son of Poseidon screech like a little girl.
"Why the name 'Sunny D'?" Will asked.
"Nico told me to call you that."
Will nudged Nico beside him. Nico chuckled to himself as he nudged Will back.
"I have nicknames for everyone," Percy smirked victoriously, 'Wise Girl, Teddy Bear, Goddess of Puke, Beauty Guru, Weather Forecast, Human Glowstick, Sunny D, Death Boy, and Questionable."
"Why am I questionable?" Reyna asked, crossing her arms.
"Oh that one wasn't a nickname, I don't have one for you yet."
"Oh, I have a good one! How about 'Destroyer of Percy Jackson'?"
"Dude, I am not a weather forecaster!" Jason groaned, Piper laughing tremendously into his shoulder.
"I don't like, but I like Frank's." Hazel smiled, hugging Frank so Frank could hug her. "He is like an actual teddy bear, he's cuddly."
Will faced Nico with an annoyed look on his face. "So you let him call you Death Boy, but not me?"
"I never gave him permission." Nico responded.
"Well, because I'm the human glowstick, and glowsticks are the life of the parties," Leo grinned, "I say we should ask Chiron to do a round of Capture the Flag tonight. That's always entertaining."
Everyone agreed and cheered. Capture the Flag was an amazing tradition. They did it whenever a new camper came, or whenever it had been really hectic and needed to relieve themselves, or whenever Chiron wanted to see their improvement in training.
Or whenever they wanted, really.
"I'll go talk about it to Chiron now." Leo said, standing up. "Hazel, come with me."
Hazel reluctantly got out of Frank's embrace and followed Leo to the Big House.
"Goodbye Human Glowstick and Goddess of Puke!" Percy waved.
"IM GONNA KILL YOU FOR THAT!" Hazel screamed back.
Everyone stayed talking for a bit until they decided to go one by one. Will had to go check up on the infirmary, so Nico walked him to it.
"By the way, you are not playing." Will said.
"Oh, come on Will! I'm healed, i'm fine!" Nico complained.
Will thought about it and nodded. "Fine, but I have to be with you the whole time."
Nico shrugged and nodded. "Sounds good to me."
