"Yes, I definitely want that to happen. How do I do that?"

"You concentrate on building your bond with Dimitri and blocking the bond that you have with your bond mate. Eventually, the bond between you and Lissa will wither and die from lack of use."

"That would be great!!! Thank you so much, Oksana."

"You are welcome Rose, now when we release this bridge. Look into Dimitri's eyes and start building your bridge with him."

"Thank you again, Oksana."

"Are you ready to start Rose?"

"Look into my eyes."

"Mitya, can you hear me?" He looked startled beyond words but nodded anyway.

"Good. Oksana said that the more that we practice this the stronger it will become. And soon our bond will replace the one that I with Lissa. I think that means no more darkness Comrade."

"That would be sooo wonderful Roza!!! So we need to practice this at least a few hours a day until it's permanent."

"Yep. I love you so much Mitya."

Roza, Spiridon, Mishka, and I spent the next couple of weeks getting used to each other and used to constantly being around each other. Being guarded instead of doing the guarding was a bit of a transition and a challenge for my love. But I had no doubts that she would eventually become accustomed to it. She may not ever love it, but she will get used to it there was no doubt about it in my mind. It would just take her some time.

Tatiana, had sent Guardian Melissa Anderson the lady that Mishka had worked with in the file room at court to Russia. To be interviewed by Roza and I and see if she would fit with us. And as it turns out she was a perfect fit, she was just two years older than my Roza, so the age also worked out well as well.

We gave her the charmed signet ring after having the rest of the engraving done. We also gave her, her new cell phone, telling her the same thing that we had told Spiridon about a cell phone cover. She was a big nature fan, so she chose a picture of a waterfall for her cover.

Roza thought that it was so beautiful that she actually cried. It seems as though her mood swings and the hormone fluctuations have started to kick in.

The entire moroi and dhampir world had been told about some of the changes to the guardian ranks. The royals still weren't pleased at all, but they still had no say in the matter.

The novices however were excited to graduate from the academies. But the majority of them were also excited about further training. It seems that some of them were also worried that they had not been trained well enough to survive for very long.

Some of them however, thought that they were already capable of taking on the strigoi. The moroi weren't the only ones with big ego's it seems. But, that is part of a lot more people than it should be. Unfortunately, species had nothing to do with that particular trait.

I had explained to Vika that although she could not become a guardian. That she could return to St. Basil's to teach future generations of guardians.
