Ashton hated you. He didn’t know why he was in a relationship with you in the first place.

You were almost always clinging onto him like a monkey on a branch and it pissed the hell out of him. You would always drag him to pointless arguments, which would end up in you crying most of the time and him running his hands through his curly hair in frustration.

Even the boys didn’t know why you two were still together. You were always getting on Ashton’s nerves, pushing him out of his tolerance on a daily basis.

But he couldn’t leave you. And he hated himself for it.

You made him say things he would never say. Whenever you were around, he’d swear the life out of every single thing that was in the same room as him. You had him do things that he would normally be very uncomfortable doing.

There was even one instance where you stormed out with teary eyes and one of the boys filmed him swearing. Of course, he said that they couldn’t post it since he was caught in the act.

Even when you weren’t around, he was always conscious, always expecting you to jump out of the shadows. He didn’t act like himself, seeing as though he thought you were everywhere, watching him. Ashton sometimes felt your fingers on his skin, tracing different patterns and shapes, even if he knew that you were miles away.

It was scary, to be honest.

He didn’t love you, but he did. He couldn’t breathe when you weren’t around, and still couldn’t when you were. You two had a toxic relationship but he didn’t want to be the one to end it.

You were always on his mind, and no matter how hard he tried, you just didn’t want to leave.

You kept keeping him to your side and everyone was fed up with it. It’s just that you were a frightening emotional mess that nobody dared to speak their minds.

It got to the point where Ashton would barely see his friends because he was always doing something with you. Even if it was a petty argument or a cheesy ‘I love you’/’I love you more’ conversation that would just be going around in circles.

Ashton believed you were a witch, putting him under your spells.

But somehow, he was okay with that.
