Imagine 26: Luke Robert Hemmings (Reminisce)

The boys were always booked for interviews whenever they landed in different countries from all around the world. They woke up way early in the mornings and slept for less than eight hours, only to wake up and continue the cycle until they were to board another plane and step onto foreign soil again.

It was tiring, but it was fun. Especially for Luke.

Whenever they had landed back home, he'd have all sorts of souvenirs to give you and stories to tell. And during one of your many Skype calls, he'd never miss the sparkle in your eyes or the slight smirk that graced your lips whenever he told you about the band's adventures and misadventures.

However, everything's been black and blue ever since your breakup.

You couldn't handle the distance any longer, and the breaks Luke had was mostly spent with his family and catching up on things he missed. Like sleep. And Calum.

The amount of months you two spent apart started taking a toll on you, and the groupie rumors made it even worse.

You had trusted Luke more than a hundred percent, but your insecurities got the better of you.

So during one of your daily Skype calls, you decided to break the news and call it quits.

Luke was droopy and emo the entire week. He couldn't help but blame himself for keeping you his second priority all the time. He blamed himself for always thinking that maybe you'd be there until the end, not even considering how you felt.

Ashton, Michael, and Calum all tried their best to put him in a better mood, and it worked for a while, but at the end of the day when performances were done, he couldn't help but hold onto his phone for dear life, simply waiting for a surprise call from you, asking for you two to get back together.

It's been two weeks and five days, and his phone still hasn't buzzed with your name.

The fandom went crazy. The mature fans contributed to the boys' effort to make Luke the happy lad he was, making sure to send you little notes that made your heart hurt a bit less while the kill yourself and immature side of the fandom bid you good riddance, sending you hate and death threats.

So when they were on national television for one of their many interviews and you were brought up, Luke tried his hardest not to let his sadness and fear show.

He put his head down, looking at his shoes. Luke's left hand slowly formed a fist, his hand soon clenching unconsciously.

The breakup still hasn't sunk in, and he was so afraid for it to be true.

You made him a better version of himself almost everyday. You were each other's rock, supporter, and vent. You could tell each other anything.

But now that you've gone, the only thing Luke could do was reminisce.
