"Does everyone understand?"
"Ne!" The guys chant as I sigh exhaustingly. Who knew preparing to enter an airport was so difficult. Then again, I'm supposed to enter the Seoul airport with the most popular boy band in the world.
"Remember the plan, Brianna you're sticking with me. You guys will go on ahead and we'll be following from a certain distance." Her voice echoes in the airport's private underground parking lot.
"Remind me why we're doing this again?" I grumble.
"Because if fans see any pretty girl remotely close to them, they'll assume 'things'..." She quotes with her fingers.
"But even if we are far away from them, I'm wearing their clothes! Won't they notice that?"
"That's why we went with black ripped jeans and a black hoodie so it looks as plain as possible. Hopefully, ARMY will keep their eyes on the boys the entire time so we won't have a problem passing by."
"This is going to go terribly wrong..." I whisper to myself.
"Oh! I also bought you this!" She passes me a soft-like material.
"A white face mask?"
"Just to be safe."
I rip the package and place the two elastics around my ears. Now, the only parts of me we could see were my big brown eyes.
"Alright, let's get this show on the road..." My words come out muffled. We head up altogether, going up many stairs to reach the main level of the airport. It was only yesterday that Karen told me we were leaving for Japan the next morning. Apparently, my mom forgave her after all the illegal trouble she went through to get me. She even told Karen that she'd send a suitcase with clothes and essentials for me when we arrive in Japan. I don't know what she said to my mom for her to take this situation so lightly, but she doesn't mind I stay with them. As long as I finish my school year and keep my grades up, she gives full permission. I don't know how I'll do that since I have no direct contact with my school... But I'm sure we'll figure it out.
"Idols first." Karen gives them the right to pass. They nod and quickly go in pairs of two or three with a few guards at their disposal. As they slowly leave my view, screams fill the entire airport. How many fans came to see them? A hundred? A thousand? I was starting to get worried. What if they spot me and gang up on me?!
"It's our turn." She slightly pushes me forward.
"Karen, I can't do this."
"What? Of course you can, don't be silly!" She pushes me all the way to the hallway of the main gate where all the fans were stationed. "Take a deep breath and keep looking straight ahead. I'll be right behind you."
I gulp and start walking, pulling my hoodie up. The guys were entertaining the crowd as we slipped by and scurried to the main gate. Thankfully, no one noticed us.
"Alright, let's go in before anyone spots us." I take off my hood.
"Wait!" Karen quickly pulls it back up.
"What?? Did someone see me?"
"No, it's not that. We just need a little help for this next part."
"Huh?"
She pulls out her phone and starts texting away.
"You're texting now of all times!"
She sends her text and two of the boys say goodbye to their devoted fans and come rushing into the scene.
"Why are Jungkook and Jimin coming over?! Isn't that going to attract the fans' attention?!"
"Just stay behind me."
