don't show so much skin, or you'll attract unwanted attention; you should learn how to cook, it will be expected of you, you don't want to embarrass your family do you?; don't go out so late at night, do you really want to invite trouble; chew with your mouth closed, it is so unbecoming, how will you find a husband that way; give your parents money when you're older, they deserve it after all they've done for you, don't you know you were a burden to bring up?; stop stuffing yourself, that's disgusting, and you need to stop growing sideways anyway, who would want you then; heavy makeup makes you look like a whore, take it all off this instant, what will people think of our family?; smile at the rich men who offer to buy you things and count your blessings, you're lucky they even look at you in the first place; don't eat so little, you're all skin and bones, do you want people to think that we don't feed you?; look at your pretty face, don't waste it, your looks won't last forever, use it if you can, how else will you get what you want?; marry a wealthy man, one with a quicksilver mind, or else who will take care of you?; don't spend money on yourself or stupid things, there's so much else that we can spend it for; you shouldn't talk to boys, they will bring you no good, what will people think of you?; serve the food for the men of the family, they are the providers and must be respected; girls like you know nothing, you should just sit still and keep quiet, swallow your opinions like you do with the soup your mother makes; it's like everybody wants something from me, but I have nothing left of myself to give.
