"ALRIGHT, YOU KNOW I don't like surprises unless it's you getting naked for me." Ashton grinned, following Ella as she dragged him by the hand.
"Guess you won't like this surprise then," she shrugged.
"You're not going to tell me?"
"No."
"You won't tell me why you're dragging me into my own club? It's usually the other way around," he chuckled.
Ignoring him, they finally stopped when reaching the entrance of his club. As soon as Ella opened the doors to his club, Ashton lifted her chin up for a kiss. He didn't even wait for everyone to start yelling 'Surprise!' to know what Ella had planned.
She furrowed her eyebrows as he broke the kiss, grinning at everyone who stood before them. "You knew?"
"Sweetheart, I can read you like an open book. You can't hide anything from me,"
"I didn't even say anything,"
He tightened their hand-holding and led her inside. "You didn't have to. I knew you were hiding something from me and my birthday was coming up, so I put two and two together."
"Mhmm."
"I'm slightly offended you think I'm stupid enough to not realise,"
Ella looked up at Ashton and saw him feigning his hurt. She rolled her eyes. "Okay, Mr Straight-D's,"
"I think my dick isn't straight. It's got a slight kink, don't you think? You should know, it always hits that spot for you,"
Her eyes widened and looked around her, seeing if anyone had caught on to what he had just said. Seeing that they were still walking to the bar, no ears had a chance to catch on in their conversation.
"AHH! You like?" Lily squealed, running up to Ashton and Ella and gave them both a hug.
"Yeah, Ella did a good job didn't she?"
"Lil—"
"I think so too. For a homebody, she sure knows how to plan a good party!" Lily cut her off before she could tell Ashton that Lily was the one who actually pieced the party together.
Christian wrapped an arm around Lily's waist and used the other arm to greet Ashton in a hand-clap.
Ella mentally took note that Christian and Lily were back on talking terms, seeing that they were comfortable in each other's embrace but didn't know if they were couple matching or sticking to the theme with their red pieces. Everyone around them was wearing red — Ashton's favourite colour — and the whole club was decorated in nothing but red, black and white.
"Happy early birthday, brother,"
"Thanks. Just waiting for my early birthday gift from Ella," Ashton grinned, looking down at Ella.
