"GHETTO. FUCKING GHETTO," Satan blew out air.
Ella was slightly shaken up at the fact that Cap actually shot a person in the arm. He was about to continue shooting until he saw Ella's scared features.
Satan draped his arm around Ella's shoulders. "You know all parties go off like this. There's not a party that don't got a shooting involved,"
"If it wasn't for Ella's ole scary ass, that ni**a would've been dropped dead on the floor." Cap fumed.
She stayed silent, looking out the moving vehicle's window as they bypassed houses.
"Aye, drop me off at KoKo's mama house. I left my son there,"
Cap smacked his teeth. "Where yo car?"
"Ova with Mir. Ain't no one bringing a car to a block party. It either gon get stolen or people be asking to catch a ride,"
"Like what yo ass doin' right now,"
Satan flung his hands around, waving Cap's remark off. "What was you even doing there with Ella?"
"Ion have to explain shit to you,",
Ella felt her elbow being tugged on. Looking at Satan, she saw him pointing to Cap with his head.
"Ask him," he whispered loudly.
"Why?" she asked.
Cap thought Ella was talking to him as he answered without his irritated tone that was present when he was speaking with Satan. "Someone wanted to make a hit so I had to collect my deposit."
"I thought you only took hits for the gang!?" Satan's eyes bulged out of his sockets.
"Like I said, Ion have to explain shit to you, nosey ass ni**a." Cap bit, making a turn into a street.
He stopped in front of a small one-storey house, causing Satan let out a dramatic sigh and rub his eyes.
Cap smacked his teeth and turned to the back of the car. "Get the fuck and getcho son."
"I love Mir but he be really crying for no reason. Like if I wanted to have a headache, I'd go to his mother."
"Makes sense, that her child." Cap snickered.
Satan glared at him before opening the car door to get out. "Should've made that hoe overdose on plan B. Catch you later, best."
Ella nodded curtly. "Bye."
He closed the door, and Ella could see Cap staring at her from the corner of her eye. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow, silently questioning 'what?'.
"Come on up here,"
Her face changed to its usual inscrutable look. "Why?"
He smacked his teeth. "'Cause ain't no one wanna be your Uber, the fuck?"
She nodded and went out of the car, entering the passenger seat. Putting in her seat belt, she faced him when she was done.
"You tryna go home?"
It was already ten pm, which was her usual bedtime. Her parents were home and would most likely to freak out due to her absence. Besides, she didn't want to be in the presence of her parents, knowing they would try to find some type of way to punish her.
