"COME ON," ELLA pulled Lily by the arm as an attempt to get her out of the bed.
She hadn't seen either one of her best friends in a week after learning about the loss of their child. And to put it frankly, she was sick of sitting in the library alone during break and observing Ashton and his new crush from afar.
"Christian's coming to school today," Ella entreated.
Lily lifted her head from the covers upon hearing his name. "What?"
"He's coming back to school as well,"
She huffed and sat up on the bed. "You promise?"
"Yes."
"Fine, but I'm feeling real bitchy today," Lily warned, standing up out of the bed.
Ella nodded. "That's fine with me,"

"So, are you guys going to college?" Hailey cheerfully asked.
This girl is way too cheery and bubbly for my liking.
Lily eyed her, still unconvinced that there was a poor person within ten meters of her, as she retorted, "So, are you going to ship yourself back to Louisiana?"
Staring at the scene folding in front of here, Ella felt slightly uncomfortable that they were all sitting on the same table for lunch, but she couldn't complain nor was she the type to. She finally had her friends back at school, and they too were best friends with Ashton, hence his presence. Yet, with Ashton now came that clingy, tall, bird-looking brunette, and because there were only four seats, Lily was sitting on Christian's lap.
So, there they were. All five of them.
"I'm not going, querida," Ashton replied to Hailey's question.
She looked genuinely shocked and shifted her body to her right, facing him as they sat beside each other. "Really, why? You have amazing grades."
"Don't like school, never did."
"But you're doing so well! You could get into college with your GPA and SAT scores." She encouraged. Ashton shrugged in response, which deferred her attention to the rest. "What about you guys?"
Lily shot her a deadpan look, causing her to quickly look away to Christian.
He shrugged, "Ella's going college for the three of us. We're not going."
