"CALL ME STEVIE Wonder, because I can't see a damn thing," Lily dramatically covered both eyes.
Christian let out a chuckle. "Babe, it's not that deep."
She rubbed the side of her forehead, stilling the impending headache she felt forming as she was majorly disturbed by what she had just witnessed happen in the dressing room.
"You look beautiful, though," he kissed her forehead, an attempt to stop her from rubbing it.
Christian, himself, brought butterflies and the feeling of euphoria to Lily. He was always respectful and nice towards her even when he was lashing out at everyone else due to his short temper. She couldn't help but feel this way towards him and it scared her tremendously. She had daddy issues and what her dad did to her, tarnished her outlook on all males.
Yet, even when she did unforgivable things that would make a sane man run away, Christian stayed put for her. After losing their child, she didn't have it in her to keep pushing him away. She just wanted to be under him constantly, and he felt the same way.
She straightened her tight and long, white mermaid dress. Then huffed, remembering a certain long-legged brunette was wearing her best friend's dress!
"She's not meant to be apart of the debutante! Who's she coming out for? The closet isn't sick of her yet," Lily raved.
"Ash pulled some strings because he didn't want her to feel left out,"
Her eyes widened. "Left out of what?! Only five females that went to our school were invited to this international debutante. You're saying like the whole school was invited and not her,"
Christian nonchalantly shrugged. "You and Ella were invited and you hyped this thing up. He just didn't want Hailey to miss out,"
"She isn't missing out on anything. It's not our fault she was born poor," Lily shook her head and raised her voice. "And Ella's not even here! It starts in three minutes and apparently that's all it takes for that brown-haired witch to take Ella's dress!"
"What?" he questioned, shocked.
"Why do you think I'm saying I can't believe what I'm seeing!"
"I thought you were just being dramatic," he chuckled.
"Firstly, I'm never dramatic," Lily stated, pointing her finger to his face. "And secondly, that female dog took Ella's date, dress and probably speech!"
"Wait, if she's wearing Ella's dress, what's Ella going to where?"
"Exactly! And I believe she was scheming and plotting this because they're different sizes, so she knew she would need a seamstress that's why she was cozying up to the working class,"
Christian looked at her amused. "I think you're reaching,"
"I'm actually not," Lily crossed her arms. "She better know she's not getting away with this consequence-free,"
"Where's her dress?"
Lily made a disgusted face. "I mean, I understand why she's wearing Ella's dress. I would be caught dead in the lace rug Harley brought in,"
