SCANNING THROUGH THE files in Christian's bedroom, she wondered who would be suitable. Ashton clearly didn't get the hint when she had ignored him and barely saw him. And when she did, she would refuse to touch, talk or kiss him. Yet, because she was barely around him, he hadn't had the chance to confront her about her new behaviour.
Ella only had a week left in that time frame her father had given her.
Christmas already flew by and she gave Ashton's present in the most inconsiderate way known to mankind. Through the trashcan.
She wasn't even sure if he checked his bin. He had maids for that. But she knew it didn't matter to Ashton if Ella had given him a gift or not. He loved the girl so much that her presence alone was a gift to him. Hence why she restricted him from seeing her too.
Marcus Atwood: A five foot two' Caucasian male. Stole heroine for himself instead of selling. Must find and torment back for money!
Ella read in her head, rolling her eyes with a small smile in amusement. Clearly Ashton wrote these papers, obvious through the childish-like composition.
Although Marcus was on the bad list, he didn't deserve to be killed. Well, at least she thought not.
Daniel Barbens: A four foot seven' African American male. Killed one of the member's of Christian's no.5 team. Must kill back!
She sighed and flipped through the pages. She wanted someone who really deserved to die. It would be easier on her conscious when Christian would go out to kill him for Ashton after finding out what Ella did with him.
Ella stopped when a particular profile stood out to her.
Zack William: A six foot one' Caucasian male. Kidnapped little children for sex trafficking. Slaughter on sight, Christian!
Ella decided that she would go with this person. The only thing she needed to do now was lure him and get him to kiss her in front of Ashton. She let out a exhaled heavily. Playing games and scheming wasn't her thing, it was Ashton's. She liked things straight forward and to the point.
"What are you doing?" Christian walked in into his bedroom all sweaty, causing Ella to turn around to face him. Dropping his duffle bag that was full of his gym essentials on the floor beside the door, he peered over Ella's shoulder looking at the files in front of her. "What are you doing looking at that shit?"
Ella shrugged her shoulders. "I like reading."
"Read something else like Dr. Seuss. Why you reading shit about people on the hit list?"
"Hit list?" she raised her eyebrow.
"Those people aren't good with us so we finna get rid of them."
Christian stepped forward and snatched the files from Ella, not realising she had already hidden Zack William's paper inside her skirt.
Ella crossed her arms. "Why can't I know?"
"Cause I don't wanna expose you to this typa stuff. You too innocent," he patted her head.
"We're the same age. I'm not a little girl. And, You're only seven months older than me," Ella refrained herself from narrowing her eyes.
"Yeah, but you is still my little sis. I ain't letting you in this shit,"
Ella stood up, patting the dust from her skirt that could have caught on from her sitting on his bedroom floor.
Christian furrowed his eyebrows. "You finna leave?"
She nodded and grabbed her small designer handbag.
