Waking up to my alarm, I woke up to realize that being alone at some point in your life, can make a huge impact. A huge, huge impact.
The positive side of being alone is you can have some time for yourself and learn to grow in different environments on your own. In short, you'll have time to love yourself more that it can lead to the pavement of your maturity towards the road of life.
The negative side of being alone is you will get pretty lonely. You would sometimes feel that people were being kept from you for some reasons but in reality, they're not. We just feel really sad when we are lonely that we may think of the unthinkable but at the end of the day, we'll learn how to be happy somehow. The answers are within our hearts and to how our brains would handle that.
Turning off my alarm and it was just 5 in the morning, I stretched my arms and legs, also yawning in the process. I got ready for today's agenda, a shoot for a magazine, until I found myself stirring my cup of coffee in the living room.
Damn, I didn't got the chance to notice the text message from my co-worker a bit earlier, saying that the shoot was rescheduled due to the model's demand. Well, I just have the day to myself.
I looked through my contacts and saw a familiar name. It was my college friend and knew about Jennie and I. She was one of the people whom accompanied me because Rosè and I went to different schools in college.
Knowing how complex that girl was, I dialled her number this early. And she quickly answered. Told you.
"Yeoboseyo?" Said the girl from the other line. She would've greeted me with my name but I remembered that I've changed my number since Lisa died.
"Sooyoung-ah!" I greeted her, in hopes of her realizing who's she talking to. It took a couple of seconds until I heard her scream. "Lisa-ya!"
We talked for the past few minutes, catching up with our lives. She told me that she's handling a supermodel and I told her that I'm photographer working mostly with supermodels.
I also informed her to take our talking as a secret, for the sake of the true Lisa.
"Who are you handling right now, managernim?" I teased her while laughing.
"Haha, so funny Manoban," She replied in annoyance. "It's none other than supermodel Jennie Kim."
My heart began to beat fast upon hearing her name. I always felt these stupid butterflies roaming around my stomach. God, why does it feel like I'm still in college and gave me the feels I was feeling when I was a kid? I placed my hand over my chest as I inhaled and exhaled.
"Yow Lalisa," I heard her say at the other side of the phone because I wad not responding for a couple of seconds. "Still there?"
"Yeah, I got caught up for I was having breathing problems." I said and it wasn't a lie. "You know, I have asthma." And that's a lie.
"Lisa-ya, you're caught redhanded already!" She said while laughing the hell out of herself. "I remember you having yadom as your bestfriend way back in college and you always say you don't have asthma. You're always like this, you know. Hearing your lover's name and making you all crazy and breathless..."
"Yah! Enough, enough. Don't tease me anymore, managernim." I said like a little kid and we laughed together.
"It's been awhile, Lalisa. Where have you been?" She asked me out of nowhere.
"I just wanted to have a home away from home because something horrible happened in the past. I'm here Thailand right now, doing my thing." I simply explained to her and suddenly I've got an idea. "Yow, Chahee?"
