"Yow, brother Kunpimook Bhuwakul! What's good?"
I greeted and surprised my boy best friend with such high tone and with a sudden phone call. I was sitting on the chair at the balcony of my hotel room. But, all I heard was silence. What's up with him, what the hell. He's not like this, especially on phone calls.
I went on a walk at the streets Seoul after the mall scenario with Twice and somehow Jennie Kim. I walked and walked until I reached a park and stayed at the playground all alone. Seeing the sunset and getting satisfied, I went to go to my hotel with a smile.
"Uh, Lisa?" He said in a simple tone, he was a bit mad. "Where were you these past few weeks? I was worried as hell. Thank goodness you called me."
Oh, that's why.
Bambam can be the younger or oldest brother you can simply have in the form of a friend. He's really protective for Chaeyoung and I. Through thick and thin, he's always there. Tested and proven by the email objectives but that's just three-fourths of his efforts.
We're so close that we treat each other almost like family.
"Mianhae, Bambam." I said in a soft tone. "I was having trouble with my own self. I became depressed once again after remembering the background of that stone in Bukhansan that all I had to do was pour my time in work. Plus, I was kinda promoted, woohoo. But, I'm okay now."
"I wish Chaeyoung and I were there to comfort you," He replied, as he started to trail our memory lane. "We'd do the B & C show for you to cheer you up and eat ice cream afterwards."
"Thank you, Bambam." I said with a smile, looking at the view of Seoul at night. "Thank you for staying, even if luck closes the doors for me all the time."
"It's alright Pranpriya. We all need lone time for ourselves sometimes." He replied and I can sense the revival of happiness upon his voice. "But, I don't believe that luck closes its door for you all the time. Actually, you're now in the regime of luck due to the success of your email objectives and your success on photography. Believe me, luck is with you now."
"Wow," I said in return as I was surprised with his words. "Luck is really with me now that I even saw Jennie at the mall earlier."
I covered my mouth as soon as those words escaped my mouth and heard Bambam gasped on the other side of the phone.
"Lalisa." He said flatly. "Tell me the truth. Are you in South Korea now?"
"I'm home." I smiled as I replied to him.
"Jinjja?!" Bambam replied excitedly. "We need to celebrate your homecoming! Or shall we say, comeback. C'mon! Let's square up."
After minutes of talking and catching up, we've decided to meet each other and hangout at a local club that was well-known nowadays in Korean society.
I wore a simple outfit, did my makeup, and went out to get a cab to start this wild night.
----
"Here comes the best photographer!" Bambam greeted me with a hug and I instantly felt such atmosphere of the club.
Loud music controlled by DJ Seungri the Great, sweaty bodies on the dance floor, and strong smell of mixed alcohols and other beverages. Wow, it's getting really wild tonight."
