At seven a.m. on Tuesday morning, Daya was awoken by a familiar annoying sound which was her apple iPhone ringtone, she gets up and answers the phone. Butch shouted excitedly "Daya get up and come open the door for me", she stands up to open the door without saying a word. Butch stormed in excitedly then begins to narrate his date, he goes "Daya I had one of the best dates of my life, she was fun, cheerful, considerate, beautiful and very interesting". He stops talking because he realized Daya had just woken up and wasn't as excited as he was so, he shook her continuously till she shouted "Stop Butch!! I am awake, continue talking" so he stops and does a happy dance as he says "and I got laid" with a silly smirk on his face. Daya was now awake and back and seemed more excited than him "omg you got laid!!" she screamed, "I said I got laid not we, why you so happy?" he said jokily, she gave him a playful pat before they both did a happy dance. Before Butch left he said, "oh and I think we are like official now", Daya was shocked and before she could get a word out he was out the door, skipping to his car.

Daya sat on her bed and thought to herself in shock because she had never seen Butch that happy, she was surprised that she was a little jealous but not because she wanted him but because he was happier than he had ever been with her. She was awakened from thought by the sound of a text message entering her phone, it was Butch. He sent her an image and a message that read "I took this yesterday on my date, this is Ariana, isn't she gorgeous", Daya clicked on the image and it was a picture of one of the most gorgeous girls she had ever seen. The girl in the image appeared to be sitting across the table from Butch with her hand on her cheek, she was smiling and had gorgeous almost shiny teeth, the background was blurry and shiny but Daya could recognise the place, it was an outside restaurant Butch loved. Her eyes were big and brown, and they looked like round gems as you could see the visible happiness on her face, she had plum lips which she coloured red and a cute medium sized slightly pointed nose which she accessorized with a small nose ring on top of it. Her hair was brown and long with slightly lightened tips which she had packed up, leaving two thick curled strands falling across her face, she had light beautiful makeup on and was wearing a beautiful, cream coloured simple yet elegant dress that made it visible she was quite slender. Daya stared at the picture for about five minutes admiring the beauty of the girl her best friend seemed to like, she then texted back "she is one of the most gorgeous humans I have ever seen, where on earth did you meet her?", Butch texted back immediately like he was waiting for her to reply "I met her at an anime expo last month, that was my sign from God we might have a chance", Daya laughed then replied "well I like her and I hope it works out and goodbye I need to get ready for work"

It was eight thirty now and just thirty minutes to her scheduled waking up time, there wasn't any use going back to sleep so Daya wrote some poems, short stories and feelings she usually writes when bored, she usually sends them to Butch but didn't feel like doing that this time. At nine a.m. her alarm rang as expected then she got ready and went to work. She got in the house, changed to her uniform and hoped she didn't meet her horrible boss, thankfully he wasn't in, so she cleaned his room quickly in case he came back early then left to do her other duties at twelve. She dusted until lunch time then met with the others for lunch. Mara noticed she wasn't as cheerful as the day before and asked if anything was wrong, Daya asked where the boss was as a response to her question so Mara assumed it was the boss's behaviour yesterday that made her sad so she said "His name is Fred, he is a twenty eight year old millionaire who made a fortune from selling programs and apps and he has been moody for most of the days since I started working here five years ago. He has travelled now and we can't say when he would be back. He is an asshole and you would soon get used to it". Daya responded "I hope so" and continued to eat and pretended to be happy to avoid further questions. After lunch, she did all her work and left at four as scheduled. She turned her phone on and got a few texts but none from Butch, she just assumed he was sleeping and listened to music on the trip home. As soon as she got home she took a nap and woke up at around one a.m., she checked her phone and still no texts from Butch, she became worried and called but he didn't answer, shortly after the attempted call, he texted her saying "with Ariana, would call you when I get home. Sleep tight and don't think of me too much". Daya didn't reply and thought about how she expected this and was slowly losing her best friend, she got mad and threw all the books on her shelf on the floor then picked them up, arranged them and went to take a shower. She washed her hair and tried to keep that shower as long as possible, after the shower, she felt better, read a book then went to sleep.
