The sun setted above Heatherstar's head and the shadows spread out on the moorland's floor. Heatherstar relished the rays as it warmed her back. She swished her tail happily as soft, warm wind rustled the leaves. Overhead, birds chattered and she licked her lips hungrily. She would hunt before the sun set.
She paused.
Hadn't it set already today? Wasn't it raining in the moorlands?  didn't she caught greencough? And wasn't she on her last life?
Yes! She'd fallen asleep to its thrumming, and her Clan went to sleep with fear in that they might loose their leader as the storm swept the forest.
It felt too real to be a dream. A vision. Her heart lifted. It had been so long since she'd had a vision. She had a strange vision about a silver-furred cat after she received her nine lives.
Ahead she heard fur brush under the bushes. Paw steps were stalking towards her. Danger? Heatherstar froze, fear clutched her belly and pricked her fur. No. She calmed herself. This is a vision. I'm safe here. She didn't move. Instead she waited, her paws pricking with expectation.
A broad-shouldered tom slid from between the bushes and stopped a few tail-lengths away. Stars sparkled in his pale brown pelt, and his amber eyes shone like the sun.
"Father!" exclaimed Heatherstar with astonishment.
"Greetings, my daughter." said Harestar with a bow from his head, he looked at the horizon silently with a hidden expression.
"A silver tabby she-cat with eyes bright as the sky will seek the secrets of her born Clan. She shall use her inner strength and the love that she has from a ThunderClan warrior. Her sisters shall show their protection and their loyalty to their youngest sister. But it will end with the betrayal of their leader." he murmured to Heatherstar.
Betrayal? I will never betray my belove Clan? What three tabby sisters? wondered Heatherstar.
The tom lifted his gaze and stared into the rising dawn, his eyes sparkled mysteriously and with the knowledge of the stars. Heatherstar followed his gaze with twitching senses, she sensed that three cats are present in the distance. They were hiding in the grass and the flat pile of the boulders. Then she saw them.
The first tabby she-cat has beautiful silver fur and shiny sky-blue eyes, she seemed healthy and strong as any WindClan she-cat. She stood on the top of boulder, her eyes shone like the blue sky and her fur shimmered in the fading sunlight. Then two more older tabby she-cats joined the silver she-cat. The second one has pale silver-gray tabby fur and leafy-green eyes, she joined younger she-cat with bright eyes. Lastly, the third one has pale gold tabby coat with creamy stripes and amber eyes.
The three of them looked around as they all stood on the boulder with brilliant and sparkling eyes.
"Who are they?" asked Heatherstar.
But then she saw them fading.
"No!" cried out Heatherstar.
The vision was blurring. Darkness clouded her sight. It can't disappear yet. She didn't understand.
"Tell me more!" Her own panicked mew woke her, and lifted her head sharply. She blinked into the darkness, disappointment swamped her, but then she coughed. She was shivering cold from her fever, even though her den was nice and warm. Outside cold water dripped through the leaves and soaked into her pelt. Shivering, she closed her eyes and tried to remember every detail of her vision. Her heart pounded. What had StarClan been trying to tell her? I have to understand! But she let out another ragged cough, her throat is scratchy and sore and her bones can be shown under her brown pelt.
But then she heard one of the queens crying out in the nursery den, she watched as Rainheart, Leafpaw, and Rainfall raced towards the nursery den with bright, nervous, and excited eyes.
It must of been Dawnstrike. Rainfall's mate. figured Heatherstar wearily.
She was about follow the three cats when a wet and pretty light gray she-cat had stepped into the den. Silvercloud had a knowing and strict expression in her eyes, she sat down neatly with her tail over her paws and in front of the den.
"You know you can't visit Dawnstrike and the kits, your fever will spread to them." said Silvercloud with narrowed eyes.
"But I need to see if they're kits of the prophecy." rasped Heatherstar.
"From your leadership ceremony?" asked Silvercloud sympathetically.
Heatherstar nodded and let out another cough. Silvercloud backed a few tail-lengths away from Heatherstar with a flash of fear in her eyes and she sat down again. Heatherstar was only a apprentice when Silvercloud was born, but times had changed and their friendship remained strong.
"I better give you some more herbs." said Silvercloud. "But for now, I will check on the kits and see if they are the same ones from your vision."
"Thank you." whispered Heatherstar as she layed down again.
"You just rest." added Silvercloud as she headed outside.
As Heatherstar and ate the herbs that was quickly left behind from Leafpaw. It only seemed to be a minute when Silvercloud came back into the den with a surprisingly excited expression. Which Heatherstar hadn't seen very often and she gets extra grumpy on rainy days.
"Silvercloud? What is it?" said Heatherstar blearily as she lifted her head to Silvercloud's direction.
"They're here!" meowed Silvercloud excitedly and started pacing eagerly with her tail flicking back and forth. "The three kits are here!"
"The silver? The pale silver? And the gold she-kits?" whispered Heatherstar.
Silvercloud stopped pacing and nodded excitedly with brilliant blue eyes. Heatherstar let out a throaty purr and felt proud for her daughter, Dawnstrike and Rainfall.
"What are their names?" asked Heatherstar.
"The gold kit is Sunkit, the pale silver kit is Moonkit, and the silver kit is Skykit." said Silvercloud warmly.
"Those are perfect names for them." purred Heatherstar.
They are here. They will save us. thought Heatherstar, overjoyed.
