Chapter 10

Christina's P.O.V

"Lauren..."

"Lauren."

"Laur."

"Lorenzo."

"Weenie."

Nothing.

"Lauren please talk to me." I begged.

No answer.

"You cant hide under the covers forever."

No answer.

"I know your sad, but you wont feel better unless you talk about it."

Nothing.

I sighed sadly and walked out.

"Anyone else wanna try?" I said sadly walking to the couch.

I feel bad for Lauren. I know it sounds wrong but I hate the person Dani has become. She has changed and she doesnt even care about her sisters feelings. Its very heart breaking.

"Lauren wouldnt talk to me either." said Lisa plopping down on the couch.

"We have to do something. She's been hiding under the covers for 2 days. She wont talk to anyone, not even mom." I said.

"What are we gonna do?" asked Lisa.

"I dont know.."

Katherine's P.O.V

"Lauren?"

"Laur, dont give me the silent treatment."

"I mean it Lauren."

"Okay, you are not gonna rot in this room forever." I pulled the covers of Lauren with lots of force.

"Ahhh, LIGHT!" she groaned covering her face.

"Lauren, get up! Now." I demanded.

"Im not going out there." she protested covering her face with a pillow.

"Yes you are." I grabbed her out the bed. She kicked and screamed. I carried her downstairs to see Christina and Lisa.

"Laurens here!" I called.

Christina and Lisa turned to see us. They smiled at us.

I plopped Lauren on the couch. She tried to run away but Lisa grabbed her just in time.

"Someone call Amy. Family meeting." I said.

"What about Dani?" asked Lisa.

"She's out with Ryan." I whispered so only Lisa heard.

Christina came back with Amy. Okay now we can start.

"Okay, Lauren. Tell us why your hiding." I said.

She shook her head. "Lauren, talk." demanded Christina.

She shook her head again.

"Laur, you can talk to us. Its ok." Said Amy.

"I-" she was about to say something until she shook her head again.

"Lauren, please. We're worried." I told her.

She looked at us with sad eyes and sighed. "I just- Im ashamed." she said.

My baby sisters ashamed?

"Lauren, you dont have to be ashamed just say it." Christina assured her.

"Dani.. and Ryan- I." before she could finish she burst into tears.

"Oh no. Lauren!" said Amy rushing to her side.

"Lauren, look at me." I said.

She shook her head.

"Look at her." said Lisa.

"Now." Amy added.

"Please." Christina begged.

She finally looked up at me. "I know its hard seeing Dani with him. But if you keep them on your mind you'll never move on." I said.

"Your our strong little sister and it hurts to see you in so much pain." said Christina.

"So please. Come into the light little flower. Bloom." joked Lisa.

Lauren plastered a small smile on her face, but it quickly vanished.

"I cant help the way I feel when I see them together." said Lauren quietly.

"And as time passes you'll get over it. I promise you." said Amy.

"And until then?" asked Lauren.

"We'll be here to help." said Christina giving her a reassuring smile.

"I love you guys." she said.

"We know." Lisa laughed.

"We're home!" shouted Dani.

"We're?" I asked looking at my sisters confused.

"Hey guys."

Oh, no.

"Hey.. Ryan." I said moving closer to Lauren. So did Amy.

"Hows it going?" asked Lisa awkwardly and nervously.

"Good. Hey Lauren." he said.

"H-hi." she started trying to avoid eye contact.

Lauren's P.O.V

Their here. Stay strong Lauren. Stay strong for your sisters. I took a deep breath and looked up.

I saw them holding hands. Nope I cant do this. I quickly looked back at the ground trying to maintain my confidence.

"So, Dani? Did you guys have fun?" asked Christina. She sounded scared.

"We had lots of fun. Ryans really silly you know." she said with a little laugh.

I know that. He's MY bestfriend. Come on Lauren keep it together.

"Lauren, you can do it.Look up, The sooner you do, the sooner you accept it." Amy whispered in my ear. I slowly looked up at them.

Ryan smiled at me. Come on Smile back. Its for the best. I smiled back, but it was fake.

I wanted to leave, but now I know I cant run from this.

"Me and Dani are going to a carnival, wanna come Laur?" asked Ryan.

I looked at Christina nervously. She nodded and gave me a thumbs up. Katherine mouthed "you can do it" Amy and Lisa nodded.

"S-sure." I said. WHAT! I cant do this. I cant. Im scared. Im not ready.

"Cool, I'll come pick you and Dani up in a few hours. He kissed Dani's cheek and waved goodbye to me.

I knew Dani didnt want me to go. The way she looked at me.

I walked over to Lisa and sat next to her. "Im not ready." I whispered.

"Lauren. I believe in you." she said.

"Can you come with me. Please." I begged.

Lisa nodded and I felt relieved. "Im coming with you guys to the carnival." said Lisa.

"Im sorry there wasnt an invitation." said Dani.

"Oh really? Im coming anyways." said Lisa confidently. Dani rolled her eyes and went upstairs.

"I cant do this guys." I said nervously.

"Come on Laur. We all believe in you." said Katherine.

The problem is I dont believe in myself.
