Chapter 47

Lisa's P.O.V

It feels so good to be in my own bed again! I plopped down and wanted to stay there forever, but unfortunately I cant because Mom wants to spend "family" time.

I,walzted down the stairs and into the living room. Christina and Amy were already there. I decided to sit next to Amy while we waited for the rest. Sooner or later they all came downstairs.

"Soo-"

"This is very serious, so we need you all to listen carefully." Mom started.

I raised my eyebrow, "Go on.."

"Okay as you all know you've been through.. ALOT."

We all nodded and snickered.

"Quiet." She said seriously.

We all obeyed and listened.

"We're moving."

"WHAT!!!" we all yelled.

"Yep, we're moving in with Jason."

"And this helps because..." Dani spat angrily. Lauren had to calm her down before she burst.

"He can help us. He's a police, he can protect us."

"2 of them are in jail and one of thems dead!" Dani yelled. "We dont need him to protect us!"

"Dani-"

"Stop trying to replace dad!" she cried.

Wait.. what?

"Honey.."

"Leave me alone!!" Dani ran upstairs followed by a door slam.

"I'll go see whats up." said Lauren before leaving.

Dani's P.O.V

I brought my knees to my chest and cried. He's gonna hurt me, and abuse me! Im scared its gonna be dad all over again.

Then I heard the door fly open, there appeared Lauren. I got up and flew into her arms. She closed the door and hugged me, "Im scared." I whispered.

"Is this about what dad did?" she asked.

I nodded. We both sat on the floor as Lauren stroked my hair and I played with her fingers. She was the only one who could calm me down without saying a word.

"Wanna talk to mom about it?" she asked.

I shook my head, "She wont listen. She'll just talk me out of it. What if he hurts me?" I whimpered.

She lifted my chin so our eyes met, "Dani, if you tell mom how you feel, she might understand. And if not, I'll protect you. I promise.. you wont get hurt."

I believed her, "We'll talk to her in a little. Alright?"

She nodded, I snuggled into her chest as she wrapped her arms around me. I eventually fell asleep in her arms.

Jason's P.O.V

I looked over to Lynne who was in a complete shock. I wrapped my arms around her, hugging her tightly. Her touch is so relaxing, she's so beautiful.

Should I? Wait, her daughters just met me! They'd reject. Does Lynne want to? Is this even the right time? Okay.. I'll do it next week, maybe they'd accept me a little more. All I know is I want Lynne to be mine.
