Chapter 49

Lauren's P.O.V

I piled into the car, I sat next to Lisa and Amy. Dani sat in front of us. At first I sat beside her but she wanted to be alone. Lisa tapped my shoulder. I turned to her, "Yea?"

"Look." she said quietly as if only I could hear. I took her phone and looked at the link, "One Direction talks Cimorelli on Ellen show yesterday."

I raised my eyebrows then turned to Amy, "Do you have your headphones?" I asked.

She rumaged around in her purse until she finally handed me some, "Thanks." she turned back to the window. I gave Lisa one ear and I had the other. I pressed the video and we began to watch.

"Well, I wouldnt say we had romances. We had small crushes and all, but it didnt get any bigger than that." Louis assured.

"Who was your crush?" the interviewer asked.

He turned tomato red, "Christina."

I laughed silently. Lisa smiled as Zayn began to talk, "I still cant believe they died.."

Her smile disappeared. Niall and Harry had tears in their eyes. They both walked out as tears started,streaming. "Harry is probably suffering the most. He loved Lauren, but she never loved him back. The last encounter they had wasnt a good one, she threw up and that was the last thing that happened. Before they all disappeared and were found dead months later. We ran into 2 of them, maybe 3 months before the passing. They didnt know where each other were, they didnt know anything. They were all split up."

Then Liam began to cry, he was quickly excused. I turned off the interview and looked at Lisa, "We should tell right?" I whispered.

She nodded and took her phone, she began to add all of One Direction to a group chat along with me.

Lisa~ Hey guys! We saw your interviews! We forgot to tell you, they faked our death! And we hadnt known. Amy is alive, she was just kidnapped. We're all safe and home in Malibu. The people who were after us are in the top prisons and Ryan died. We're all okay! I promise you :)

I smiled as Lisa sent the text. Minutes Later the whole cars phone buzzed. Christina didnt check her's because she was driving. So Katherine checked it. All at once they said, "ONE DIRECTION TEXTED ME!!"

Me and Lisa high fived. Amy rolled her eyes playfully, "Laurisa power is good." which caused me and Lisa to laugh. I nodded and smiled at Lisa as the car pulled to a stop.

"Okay, Mom said this house is hige.. soo instead of 3 people per room there will be 2. Lauren and Dani, Lisa and Amy, Me and Katherine. The doors have numbers on them, 1 is Dauren, 2 is Lamy, and 3 is Kistina. Everyone's bags are already in there so go unpack!" Christina instructed. I was very excited. I ran to my room and opened the door. I gasped, "This room is awesome! Right Da-" I turned around and noticed Dani wasnt in here. "Dani?"

I walked downstairs and Dani wasnt there, I looked out the window and Dani sat in the car. I went to her, "You coming?"

"No. Im not staying in that house."

"Dani come on. We will be okay, we'll all be here to protect you. This man isnt like dad. He wont hurt you, he's a police. If anything he'll save you. Im giving him a chance, will you?"

She looked at me teary-eyed, "Please dont let anyone hurt me."

I hugged her tightly, "I wont! I promise!"

"And Im sorry about the glass." she whispered.

"Its fine, it was an accident. Now, lets go decorate our room. Dauren style!" she wiped her tears and smiled, "Yes!!!"

"LAUREN AND DANI!! OUT THE CAR!!!" Christina yelled.

I looked at Dani who laughed, "Run!!"

"Lets put this poster in the middle." I said. Since Dani is taller she hung it up in the middle of our twin sized beds. It was a collage of me and Dani since we were babies until now.

"Im gonna go get some art supplies from Lisa." I said before walking across the hall. Lamy's room is right across from ours. I opened the door and saw they were hanging posters too. "Hey guys! Can we get marker and a poster?" I asked.

"Sure it should be in that box." Amy answered.

I grabbed the box and thanked them. I walked out and into my room again, Dani was adding covers to both of our beds. "Okay, I'll get my side figured out first, you work on the Dauren poster. Then we'll switch in 10 minutes, okay?"

She nodded and walked to the poster. I made my bed, then added picture frames of our family. I fixed my shelves with books, and stuffed animals. I added a variety of pillows then started adding things to my side of the dresser. "Come on Laur,lets switch." Dani said.l

I nodded and went to our desk to finish up. The word "Dauren's Room." were written across the stop in fancy cursive. On the bottom were individual pictures of us. She left the middle open for me. I added colorful stickers to the purple poster board. I grabbed some stencils and traced out, "Awesome Room." then colored it in with rainbow colors. Then I put glue in empty spots and added glitter. Once I finished I took it to Kistina's room and asked them to keep it in there, since the rest of us would goof around and mess it up.

I went downstairs and found Mom and Jason putting away kitchen supplies, "Are we ordering out to eat tonight?" I asked.

"Yea, you have to discuss it with your sisters on where we go." Mom answered. I smiled and walked back upstairs. After talking to my sisters we decided on Chili's.

"Okay guys! We leave in 30 minutes so get dressed and ready!" Jason called. Since we hadnt got our bathrooms fixed, we were all yelling and running through the house trying to find things. We finally got situated and got into the car. I sat by Dani in the back, I grabbed her hand and sqeezed it,"How ya feelin?"

"A little better." she smiled and rested her head on my shoulder.

"Good." I whispered.
