AMYS P.O.V

"DIVORCE!"

"Lisa! Mom and dad can he-"

"Girls."

Uh-oh.

"Hey dad.." I said awkwardly.

We were all knealing on the floor, looking up. Awkward...

"What are you guys doing?" asked mom walking from behind him.

"EaseDropping."

"DANI!" we all yelled.

"What?" she asked innocently.

"So you heard?" asked mom worriedly.

"Yep.." answered Christina.

"Lets talk downstairs."

Mom and dad led us downstairs, where we all sat on the couch.

"So, girls. Obviously you know we're getting a divorce. Your mother and I, just cant seem to be happy with each other anymore." said Dad.

"Look, we dont care. We just wanna know whats gonna happen after the divorce." said Christina.

"Well, we were thinking, maybe some of you come live with me." said dad.

"Where are you living.." I asked nervously.

"NewYork."

Thats what I was afraid of. I sunk into the couch trying to wake up from this terrible nightmare.

"But we're going to let you guys decide.." said mom.

"So?" asked Lauren.

"I dont know." I replied.

"Well, uhh who wants to stay here?" asked Katherine.

We all raised our hands. We didnt want to leave our home. We grew up here. All of our memories are in this house.

"Come on guys.. 3 of us has to go. Who's it gonna be?" I said.

"How about one of the oldest stays here and one goes to Newyork?" suggestes Dani.

"What?" asked Christina.

"Since you and Katherine are the oldest. Lets say.. Katherine stays you go. You know, its always good to have a responsible one in the house." explained Dani.

"Thats a good idea." I said. " so Christinas going. Who else?" I fininshed.

"Well, I guess I'll go, since no one else will volenteer." said Lisa sadly.

"I'll go." said Dani.

WHAT! Dani? Leave Lauren? Is she being serious?

"Your going to leave with Christina and Lisa?" I asked.

"Yea why not? New York. In the big city? Im in!"

Laurens facial expression changed, from worried to sad. I felt bad for her.

LAURENS P.O.V

Dani wants to leave? I thought she'd wanna stay here with me.. I guess not.

I held my head down so no one could see my sad expression. I tried to look like I was happy but I was hurt.

"So me, Amy and Katherine stay? Sounds awesome! Cant wait!" it actually stung a little hiding my feelings that way.

Im trying to understand. But Im just gonna face the fact that I dont understand.

We told mom and dad who was leaving. They told us the flight leaves in 2 days.

Dani, Lisa and Christina went to pack. I walked in my room and saw Lisa and Dani packing. Great. Im loosing both my room mates. I sat on the bottom bunk and pulled the covers over my head.
