Chapter 46

Christina's P.O.V

"Oh my gosh!!! Move!"

"What are you talking about! Thats Lauren's leg!"

"No its not! Quit blaming stuff on me!"

"Lisa, Dani, and Lauren! Shutup!" I said in a motherly tone.

"We're about to suprise mom, we're almost there, just be quiet until then. K?" Katherine asked looking in the backseat.

"Fine." they pouted.

I continued driving to our house in Malibu. We've been driving for 3 days. I pulled up at our house and smiled. "We're here!"

I turned back to see my sisters grinning. "Lets go!" Amy yelled hopping out the car.

We all trailed behind happily. Katherine knocked, we waited a few moments until we heard the knob turn. I got happy chills. Then some man opened the door. I raised an eyebrow, then looked at my sisters. Lauren gave me a questioning look. I shrugged because I dont know whats going on my self.

"Who are you?" Lisa asked.

"Oh, you must be Lynne's daughter, come in she's over there."

We walked in and saw my mom, everyone started crying, especially my mom. But not me, 1 because I already saw her and 2 because I am creeped out by this man. "Mom who's that?" I asked.

She looked up, "Oh guys this Jason. My friend from college."

"Mom your like 80 years old." I said.

"Watch your mouth! I've always known him, but your father was jealous since we were bestfriends. We never really hung out."

I nodded, "Why is he here?" I asked a bit rudely.

"Christina! Stop asking so many questions! I needed a friend." my mom answered.

I scrunched my nose.. I dont like him. Nope, not one bit.

My sisters introduced themselves. I just stayed in the corner looking, he seems like a nice, funny guy. But I have trust issues now. I cant trust trust anyone outside of my sisters and mom. NOBODY. Its bad, but after all we've been through, you'd have trust issues too. So you probably understand right?

"Christina, introduce yourself." my mom said through gritted teeth.

Okay she's angry. I went over and shook his hand, "Im Christina."

"Nice to meet you Christina." he smiled. "How are you?"

"Fine, thanks." I went back to my corner. My sisters looked at me oddly. Then Katherine came to me, "Trust issues." I answered without hearing her questions.

"Understandable. Just dont tell him any personal stuff and dont stay alone with him. Calm down and relax." her calm voice said.

That made me feel better, I sat down and contributed to the conversation. He doesnt seem bad, but you never know. Im not taking ANY chances.
