Marco and Star walked out of school and to his house.
"Wow your house is huge!" Star said in amazement.
"Y-yeah my parents were able to afford it."
They walked up to the door and Marco knocked. Mrs. Diaz opened the door.
"Hi sweetie! I see you brought a friend," she said eyeing me.
"Hi I'm Star Butterfly!"
"Nice to meet you Star! I'm Angie, but please call me Mrs. Diaz."
Marco walked in as Star followed. She looked around the house noticing the pictures. Most of them were of Marco and his family. They were a small but sweet family. She happened to notice one picture in particular of Marco. He looked to be about 5 years old. He was standing next to a man holding a award.
Star smiled and thought, "I wonder what he got a award for."
Marco came up from behind her and she jumped. "Oh geez sorry Marco I didn't know you were there!"
"O-oh I'm sorry I didn't mean to-"
Star laughed. "It's ok silly it wasn't your fault!" She layed her hand on his shoulder. He felt calm when she did that. It was as if she was taking away the fear in him. He smiles back.
"Do you wanna see my room?" He asked.
"Sure let's go!" Without even asking, she grabbed his hand and ran upstairs.
Marco stopped to open his door. He lead Star into the room and closed the door.
"This is my room."
"It's really...organized."
"Yeah I like to keep my things organized. Nothing is ever out of place."
"Ever?" She repeated.
"Ever."
She nodded. She walked around his room. The walls were light green. Pictures of karate hung on the walls along with a Love Sentence poster.
"You like Love Sentence too!?" Star asked.
"Oh yeah I love their songs."
"Omg me too!"
"Wow, we have a lot in common."
They laughed for a while enjoying the moment. Marco was glad he met Star. After what happened back in San Antonio, he'd never want to talk about it again. But something inside him wanted to talk about it with Star. She makes him want to confess any little secret he had. She couldn't judge him for it. And that's what he liked most about her. The fact that she doesn't care about anything, her bubbly personality and her contagious smile...
