"See Marco, I don't understand how I'm gonna feel any better in this situation."
Jackie was really upset. She has become lonely for some reason me after seeing Marco and Star hanging out. Although it breaks her heart, she can't get over the feeling that he was her only guy she felt she could love...
"Jackie, don't feel bad that I'm with Star. As a matter if fact we aren't dating. We are just good friends and you have to understand that."
She hung her head low. She didn't dare to face Marco.
"Then leave. I can't be here anymore so just-"
Before she could finish, Marco grabbed her hand. He held it gently while using his left hand to lift Jackie's chin up slightly to face him.
"No. You won't."
"What do you-"
"You won't leave Jackie. You are too good for me. Yeah, you're way out of my league. Every guy wants you but some can't have you. I'm one of those guys. Our relationship just can't work out. We will end up miserable like you said."
She blinked slowly. "Marco, i know I said that. But that doesn't make a difference. I now realize I love you. So much."
She started to tear up. Marco grabbed both her cheeks, and slowly planted a kiss on her forehead. She was shocked at the moment not knowing the purpose of the kiss.
"Why did you do that?"
"Because, I love you too."
She smiled and hugged him. She released from the hug.
"But what about Star? Isn't she waiting for you at home?"
"Of course she is, by that's not important. I want to make sure you're okay first." He smiled.
She smiled too. The two took a walk back to the house, using hands as they walked. Even if it's considered "not dating," it's called "Being there for your friends."
