I dream of a girl like the sun.
Eyes like the glowing oranges and reds of when it sets.
Skin as soft as the clouds that pass by.
A life line.
I dream of a girl with hair that flows like the breeze.
Of hands that grasp onto me like the heat.
Of her kisses so sweet like the honey suckle humidity.
I dream of a girl with flowers blooming from her eye lashes, tears watering them to lushness.
I dream of a love that i fear will never find me.
A struggle of tug of war where our tongues snap like the twine.
Teeth clattering with hollers escaping out of the gaps.
I dream of poison dribbling down our chins.
Lips quivering with I love yous.
So far that's all I've known.
And dreaming of a girl like the sun
is just that.
A dream.
