Didn't see that coming

Adrien and Marinette were sitting in a little room in the hospital with Adriens father by they're side. Nurses and patients walking up and down the corridors while silence holds between Adrien and Marientte. Then Adriens dad coughed and that's how the silence broke.

"I just....can't believe it"

Adrien blushes and saddens, looking at his dad.

Marinette awkwardly played with her fingers on her lap.

"Yeah...you're dad's quite young, isn't he?"

Marinette replied.

Adrien chuffed

"No, well yes..but i mean, all this time my classmate was actually the one i was crushing on all this time."

Mari blushed and gasped quietly, looking at Adrien.

"And my father...as Hawkmoth?"

He raised his tone a little

"It's unbelievable, no offence though"

Marinette smiled a little and scratched her neck.

"Yeah this is quite...awkward. And i never knew a...handsome boy like you would...be the cool, black cat i knew."

She raised her shoulders up to the top of her neck shyly, smiling at Adrien.

"To be honest, I'm glad it's you Marinette. You have every good trait and your personality is so perfect.

He held her fidgeting hand and held it on his lap.

She looked down at his lap and blushed more, then back up to him.

Adrien leaned closer to Marinette's ear and whispered softly in it.

"I'm gonna get to the bottom of how my dad got a hold of that miraculous"

He leaned back but his head close to hers.

"Wanna...mabye...come to my house after...my dad gets checked? I mean, i want to know if he's alright because you..kicked him pretty hard"

They both chuckled a little but were still worried.

"And i want to get to know you Marinette"

He whispered quite close to her lips as he stroked through her hair lightly.

"Y-yes...i-id really love that"

She stuttered.
