one by one, gun shots echoed though the halls and the number of men fell each time. one by one, Jungkook got closer to Taehyung. one by one, he added on to his list.
Taehyung sat at the table, listening to every gun shot one by one, waiting for his signal.
Namjoon had his gun in hand. the back up generator had kicked in and the room was poorly lit, yet namjoon was standing straight, gun pointed to the only door, his grip getting tighter as the gun shots grew closer.
Jimin was behind Taehyung and the table, clutching his shirt in fear, each gun shot making him flinch and the closer it got the more he shook.
Taehyung just stared at the door, waiting.
the hall way was silent.
the only thing that filled the hallway was the sound of a body being dragged and metal tapping along the walls. "someone has taken something that isn't theirs." Jungkook's voice rang through the room, "hasn't your mother taught you not to steal?"
the smirk in his voice was evident.
there was a knock on the door and everyone seemed to hold their breath, "i'm asking nicely for you to return what's mine."
no one said anything.
"anyone home?" Jungkook knocked again.
there was the sound of what seemed like a grunt and the sound of a gun cocking. Namjoon did the same, except he was now holding two guns. he was preparing for the worst.
"i'm done bullshitting, give me my babyboy back." Jungkook kicked the door in and Namjoon opened fire.

his guns were empty and the sound of a body fell.
Jungkook dropped the police man he had literally been using as a human shield and gave a sick twisted smile to namjoon. "now you've really gone and pissed me off," Jungkook grabbed his gun from his pocket and shot namjoon in the shoulder twice, "should've opened the damn door."
"s-stop!" Jimin cried but upon Jungkook's glance, Taehyung had wrapped the chain around Jimin's neck, pulling him back and keeping him confined on his own lap. "d-don't hurt h-him." Jimin fought back, trying to break free but it was no use. Taehyung had been given his signal and was following orders now.
"you," Jungkook smiled as he pulled a knife from his pocket. he lifted Namjoon's chin with the edge of the blade and sighed, "you piss me off." he let it cut the elders chin as he slid the blade up to his cheek then twisted it slightly.
"how'd you do it?" Namjoon asked, trying to seem unaffected, "how'd you stay hidden from me? you knew i was hunting you."
Jungkook only cocked an eyebrow and tilted his head, "what ever do you mean sir?"
"cut the shit, i know you saw me."
"the delivery man? yes. the stranger at the cafe reading a book? yes, but you see every time i saw you- i knew it was you immediately. you're supposed to be Korea's best agent. the hunter. you're the biggest and baddest in the wild. the king of the jungle. the lion himself. but you see in this game, i'm a eagle, not because they're deceptive and manipulative. no, you see it's because you can't ever catch me even if you wanted because i feel even slightly confined, i take flight. and from there i can see your every movement. eagle eye is what they call it. strength isn't shit when you don't know how to use it."
