Chapter 7 - New Alliance

"How did you get your paws on that Tai Chi card, wolf?" Luka asked sinisterly.
"I'm using them against these kids, why?" Ulric grunted. "Wait, who even are you?"
"I know I shouldn't waste my time explaining to you, but I am a Dragonoid. My goal is to defeat those Tigeroids," Luka looked at Rai with a look of malice.
"They're tigers?" Ulric asked.
"We're TigerOIDS, you goon!" Rai hollered.
"Well, they do seem annoying, and I might get double the award for beating them along with the Glitter Force," Ulric said thoughtfully, ignoring Rai.
"Tell you what. We work together to defeat these little warrior wannabes, and in the end, you'll give me that Yoon card. Deal?" Luka held out a gloved hand.
Ulric groaned, then responded, "Fine, deal."
Ulric shook hands with Luka.
"Oh boy, this is bad!" Hak yelped.
"Really bad!" Candy whimpered.
"Be quiet, obnoxious pixies!" Ulric turned to the two.
"I'm NOT a PIXIE! Does anyone know what a tiger is?!" Hak complained.
"I honestly thought you were a pixie..." Candy murmured.
"Well, I'm not!" Hak hissed.
"Hak! Now is not the time!" Sena yelled.
"I'd enjoy watching these infants fight amongst themselves, but I know my mission," Luka drew his sword, which emitted a blue, eerie light.
Candy screamed and hid behind Finn.
Luka dashed at the Glitter girls and slashed at them.
"Tai Chi Gum! Sword!" Rai called out.
A golden symbol appeared above, which then turned into a sword that seemed to be made of light.

Rai grabbed its handle, jumped in front of the Glitter Force, and clashed with Luka.
"BUFFOON!"
Everyone was distracted with Luka and Rai's sword fight, except Breeze and Finn, who immediately stepped up to battle the Buffoon.

"Glitter Force! Sparkle... BLIZZARD!" Breeze chanted.
"Tai Chi Bing! ICE!" Finn yelled.

The mini snow storm Breeze conjured up became stronger with Finn's attack. It consumed the Buffoon in a hurricane of snow and ice.
"BRR-FOON!" it chattered.
"You useless Buffoon! Time to take matters into my own hands..." Ulric growled as his eyes seemed to glow red for a millisecond.
He dashed at the group of kids, fist raised.
Donha quickly whipped a card out of his deck.
"Tai Chi Seok! Stone!"

The stone symbol morphed into lots of boulders, which stayed in midair.
Spring jumped up as several balls of green light surrounded her.

"Glitter Force! Sparkle... SHOT!"
She rapidly kicked the green soccer balls at Ulric while Donha hurled the gigantic rocks at him.
Ulric dodged them all quickly, except for one stone, which combined with a green one to create a boulder engulfed in green light.
Ulric crashed onto the ground with the boulder on top of him.
"Ouch," Peace put a hand to her mouth in pity.
"Hey, that was a good one!" Spring complimented Donha.
Donha chuckled and gave Spring a thumbs up.
"Ugh! I'm not done yet!" Ulric pushed the boulder off him and flew upwards.

Meanwhile, Luka and Rai were still having their sword battle.
"So you're going to face your doom head-on?" Luka sneered.
"You're going to pay for what you did!" Rai gritted his teeth.
"I don't like this!" Candy whimpered, covering her watery eyes.
"I can't take it anymore!" Lucky stepped up towards the fight and traced a large heart in the air with her hands.

"Glitter Force! Sparkle... STORM!"
She aimed a pink blast of energy at Luka.
Luka shielded himself, but was consumed by Lucky's attack.
"It worked!" Lucky beamed.
Unfortunately, when the pink light faded, Luka was still standing, unharmed.
"It didn't?!" Lucky gasped.
"Emily, your attack only works on the Buffoon!" Breeze reminded her.
"Aww!" Lucky groaned.
"You still have so much to learn," Luka taunted. "If only you knew how to fight with Tai Chi."
He looked at Rai, hatred in his eyes, and clashed with him once again. Rai was starting to sweat; energy drained out of him with every slash.
Breeze had a look of concentration on her face.
"You know, Luka could be right," Breeze commented.
"That I still have so much to learn?" Lucky asked, with a little hurt in her voice.
"Not in that way, Emily!" Breeze stuttered. "What I meant was what if we used Tai Chi cards against the Buffoon?"
"Yeah, but how? We don't have our own cards!" Sunny said.
"And you don't have an activator," Sena added.
"We'll find out later. Right now, let's focus on how we're going to get rid of the converging card Buffoon," Breeze reminded everyone.
