Summary:
Yuri Katsuki from Japan here! After the Grand Prix where I had won silver and the Russian Punk, Yuri Plisteski took home gold. I've been living in Russia with Victor in his penthouse. He's made a comeback in figure skating competitions while still being my couch. It's been a year now since I've started living with him. It was great at first, but now he's been getting so protective and... what's the word I'm looking for... maybe obsessive?  I love him but at the same time, I think I'm scared of him.

Yuri POV:

Feeling stressed or nervous around big competitions is nothing new to me, but what is new is Victor's sudden personality change. After winning silver at last year's Grand Prix, I've moved to Russia to continue my training under Victor as my couch. And, he's back training under Yakov.

We both are training for men's singles as well as pairs skating. I'm glad for Yakov's advice on skating as well, his words have helped me in getting better at the Quad-Salchow and landing Victor's signature move, his Quad-Flip.

I had just jumped into a Quad-Flip, it's in my free-skate and short-program again this year. The rinks doors were slammed open and I heard a squeal I knew all too well. I squeaked and lost my balance falling onto the hard ice below me. I groaned but sat up and looked up to see Victor's worried face above me.

He had put a hand out to help me up so I grasped his hand and he pulled me up from the ice. I was definitely going to have a bruise on my side tonight.

I looked over to the edge of the rink where my best friend stood, nearly in tears. Always so dramatic. I sighed softly, skating over to him and he hugged me apologizing and rubbing my side.

"D-Don't worry Phichit, I'm fine. You know I've fallen on the ice harder than that," I said to him and he laughed, his 'tears' were gone instantly.

I felt Victor watching us and it started creeping me out. Victor is acting weird, again.

"Hey Phichit," I said as I carefully stepped off the ice.

"Hm? What is it?" He asked me giving me my blade guards for my skates.

I placed the blade guards on my skates as I said, "Let's talk in the locker rooms, I want to talk to you about something important."

He blinked but nodded and I slipped off my skates, laying them next to Victor's blade guards. Phichit and I walked to the locker rooms, sitting down on some benches and I told him how weird and borderline scary Victor has been acting lately.

"Yuri, if he ever hurts you, call me, I'll kick his ass all the way to Thailand," he said to me after I finished explaining Victor's behavior.

I chuckled softly then asked, "Anyway, Phichit why are you in Russia anyway?"

"I wanted to see my best friend Yuri! I miss you!" He squealed out and I laughed.

"Hey, Yuri?" I heard Victor's voice before I saw him. "How bad is your side?" He asked standing in front of me now.

Now that I think about it, it hurt's like hell.

"I'm sorry Phichit but I can't skate when I'm this injured, but I'll be here tomorrow," I told my best friend and he smiled, waving me off.

Phichit smiled and said, "It's fine, go home, put some ice on that bruise and relax. Tell Makkachin I said hey too."

I nodded, hugged him and after taking a quick shoulder with Victor standing there creepily. We, meaning Victor and me, left for the penthouse.
