The Case Continues (Part 6)

Riya nods and he takes the lead he quietly follows the suspect and Riya follows him at a safe distance. They continue following him and end up outside a room door. Riya then approaches Arjun

Riya- Sir ab kya?

Arjun- Ab....

Arjun- Now we have to somehow bug this room, so we can over hear the conversations taking place.

Riya- hmm... but how sir?

Arjun-  We wait out here, when the room is empty we will sneak in and bug the room. You wait her I will get the stuff and come 

Riya nods while Arjun goes and gets the materials for bugging the room. They both hide behind a pillar and wait for the people to come out. They wait for over an hour but nobody comes because of exhaustion Riya falls asleep her head resting on Arjun's shoulder. Arjun sits still for more than three hours allowing Riya to sleep when he hears the room door open. He slightly shakes Riya waking her up. Riya's eyes open and she realises that her head was on Arjun's shoulder she immediately moves away and whispers a sorry.

Riya- Sorry sir, you should have woken me up.

Arjun just places a finger on his lips indicating her to be quite. He peeks out and sees a few men leaving the room. The last one was about to close the door but Arjun very carefully throws a paper not allowing the door to shut completely. He gets up still hiding his body against the pillar. Riya also gets up but her hand hits a nail on the wall and she was about to scream when Arjun covers her mouth with his hand. He pins her to the pillar one hand on her mouth and the other on her shoulder.

Arjun peers out and sees that all the men have left. On the other hand Riya is hardly able to breathe the closeness between her and Arjun's body makes her conscious as chills run down her spine. 

Arjun- Riya take the bag and follow me

Getting no response 

Arjun- Riya!

Saying this he turns to look and notices his hand still covering her mouth. She lifts her hand up and points towards his hand that is covering her mouth. He immediately removes his hand and asks her to follow him. They enter the room and fit spy cameras and microphones in different places. Riya was placing a microphone behind the Vase when she let out a small ouch in pain. 

Arjun who was engrossed in fitting a spy camera on the other side of the room immediately looked towards her. That is when he realised that her hand was bleeding. He quickly finishes placing the camera and goes towards Riya. Riya also finishes putting the microphone and they leave the room. 

They went into their room and Arjun got out the first aid box. He made Riya sit on the bed and then started applying medicine on her hand. 

Riya- Sir you do not need to do this. I will do it sir you can go and freshen up.

Arjun just gives her a glare and she shut's up. He finishes dressing her hand and then goes to freshen up. He comes out in knee length shorts and a t-shirt. Riya was just staring at him, she had never seen him in casuals. She came out of her trance when Arjun snapped his fingers in front of her face.

Arjun- Ghoorna hogaya ho to jao fresh ho jao.

Riya nods and goes to freshen up. She comes out in a t-shirt and leggings. She normally wore shorts but as she was going to stay with Arjun sir in one room she brought leggings. Her hair was wet and the water droplets trickled down her neck. Arjun was silently observing her admiring how good she looks. She goes towards  the bed and picks up a pillow and blanket. She was about to place it on the sofa when Arjun's voice boomed in her ears.

Arjun- What are you doing?

Riya- Sir I am arranging the pillow and blanket on the sofa for me. Sir you can take the bed I will sleep on the sofa. 

Arjun- It is fine Riya, you can take the bed I will take the sofa

Riya- No sir...

Arjun cuts her in between.

Arjun- Anyways I do not feel sleepy. Mere aakho se neend bahut pehle hi chali gay thi

He remembers Roshni and gets sad, seeing him sad Riya also feels bad. She wanted to go and console him but then decide against it. On the other hand Arjun walks into the balcony and looks up into the sky remembering Roshni.

Arjun- I hate you Roshni, yeh sab tumhari galti hai, yeh sab! 

( One part of his past is something everyone know that Roshni was killed in front of his eyes but there is another part of the past that nobody except for Arjun is aware and that part of the past makes him hate Roshni...the past will be revealed later in the story.)

He closes his eyes and a lone tear escapes it.  He goes back into the room to see Riya peacefully sleeping on the bed. He goes to the sofa and lies down thinking about the case. 

Slowly the night gives way to a new morning. The sun rays peek in through the windows and fall on Riya's face. She slowly opens her eyes, stretches her arms and then finally gets up. She looks around the room but does not find him when her eyes land on a note on the table she gets up and reads the note.

Riya,

I am out on a jog we will directly meet in Rathore's room to talk about the plan. 

Riya tears up the note and throws it in the dustbin so nobody else can read it and then goes to get ready. After about half an hour the whole team has gathered in Rathore's and Ayesha's room. 

Rathore- Riya did you find anything?

Riya- Yes sir, yesterday we followed a man to a room, we then bugged the room, I think consignment will take place there only. 

Rathore- Okay let us see some footage from the room Shree open your laptop

Shree- Yes sir

Shree started playing the footage and all the others huddled around the laptop to see the footage. Three men were sitting on the sofa and discussing some things

Man 1- Today 6 o'clock we will hand over the girls to you in this very room. 

Man 2- But how? we do not want any un wanted attention or any un invited trouble 

Man 1- Do not worry everything is planned, we have security officers surrounding the entry and exit of these rooms. 

Man 3- Okay then see you at 6:00

Man 1- Okay

The team ex change glances and then start formulating a plan. 

Rathore- Room ke 2 entries hai. One from the door the other from the balcony. Chotu, Shree and Ayesha enter from the main door. Me, Arjun and Riya will come from the balcony. Sakshi and Liza will stay in this room and inform the local police to be ready incase we need back up. Am I clear!

Everyone except Arjun- Yes sir!

Soon it was time for action, all the members of ETF were connected via bluetooth. Arjun, Sam and Riya were standing in the balcony of the adjacent room. While Shree, Chotu and Ayesha were standing outside the door and were waiting for their cheifs signal. When everybody were in position Sam said 

Rathore- Go

The trio outside the door barged in while the trio outside the balcony hopped in to the right balcony and the slid into the room. Seeing the sudden attack everything became chaotic. Arjun, Shree, Sam and Chotu were focusing on taking down the armed men and capturing the dealers while Riya and Ayesha were rescuing the girls and sending them out of the room so they are safe. 

The firing continues but eventually the ETF over powers the dealers with the help of back up and throw the culprits in jail. Since it was a long day everybody was dispersed form the hotel once the formalities were done.
