Not meant for you (Part 9)

Riya sighed defeated. She packed her Diary reluctantly picked her bag up and walked out of the conference room. Riya was walking towards the exit when her head started spinning, her vision blurred and her legs gave in as she fell towards the ground.

She was ready to feel the hard ground against her body but two her surprise instead of falling onto the ground she fell into two arms that held her tightly and securely. She struggled to clear her vision as she wanted to see the persons face. She forced her eyes half open to see a blurry vision of Arjun's concerned face and then all went dark.

On the other hand while Riya started feeling dizzy and was about to faint Arjun entered the office. He saw that Riya was going to faint and immediately rushed towards her. He held her unconscious body in his arms. 

Arjun- Riya...Riya

He lightly pat her cheeks but to no avail

Arjun- Riya... open your eyes 

Hearing the commotion all the ETF members gathered around

Rathod- What happened to her Rawte?

Arjun- I don't know, I was entering the office and saw her fainting

Shree- Sir actually she had really high fever and she was not looking too well either so I made her have medicine and asked her to go home.

Sakshi- If she had fever the why did she come to office? Anyways let's take her to the hospital before her health worsens.

Ayesha, Liza and Chotu nodded in agreement. Arjun then picked her up in his arms and took her towards the SUV. Once everybody was in the SUV he raced to the hospital. He once again picked Riya in his arms and dashed inside he laid her inside a ward as the doctor came to attend to her. 

The doctor requested them to leave the room as he checked Riya. The team anxiously waited outside as the doctor checked Riya. After what seemed like eternity the doctor came out and everybody rushed towards him

Doctor- Look there is no need to be worried it is just fever. I think she is really weak probably because she has not eaten anything, she has some stress and also she did not take medicines for fever. 

Shree- But doctor just 10 minutes before she collapsed I made her have medicine

Doctor- Ah about that, well since she has been an Xora 2 patient her medications are slightly different and common antibiotics will not work for her. 

All of them nodded

Rathod- And when can we take her home?

Doctor- As soon as all the formalities ar done but makes sure no draining activities.

Rathod- Can we meet her?

Doctor- Sure

All of them slowly entered her room. The stand around her bed as she flashes them a weak smile. Rathod steps in front. 

Rathod- Riya start taking care of yourself 

Riya nodded

Riya- Sir when can I leave?

Rathod- Shree is completing the formalities as soon as he is done we can take you home. 

Riya nodded happily. Soon after Riya is discharged and dropped home while rest of the team reaches the office to plan for the raid tomorrow in the godown. Once they formulate the plan all of them also retire back to their homes in order to catch up on sleep for the big day tomorrow. 

The ETF office was having a busy morning as all of the members were preparing for the raid while on member sat on the chair with a bored look and whined.

Riya- But why? I am fit and fine for the raid then why can't I join you guys

Shree- No Riya Arjun sir, and Rathod sir are right you are not completely well yet

Chotu- And did you forget what the doctor said? As a reminder he said no strenuous activities for you

Riya- But

Liza- Chill na Riya, leave it you me and Sakshi will gossip while these people will do the raid.

Sakshi- Exactly! Anyways we all are going to be outside the godown only.

Ayesha- And Riya we are ETF you will get many other Raids to participate in.

Her new besties consoled her. Looking at their efforts Riya passed a sad smile. 

Riya- Okay

Once all of them were ready they reached the godown. Sakshi, Liza and Riya stayed back while the others entered the godown carefully. Outside the trio were on alert mode as to when to call for back up but as time passed they got no response from their teammates they trio got really worried. Riya tried to connect through them via bluetooth but to no avail. 

Sakshi took out her phone but she was not receiving network noticing all this Liza said

Liza- Guys I think there are jammers here

Sakshi- What do we do now?

Riya- I am going in!
