NAME: JASON VOORHEES
Jason Voorhees was born on Friday, June 13, 1946 to Pamela Sue Voorhees, 16, and Elias Voorhees, 16, (father deceased).
Jason was a happy boy. He was slow-witted. But he tried all to have interests: books, exercise, making friends-but, because of his abnormal disability and violent nature, he was an outcast in Crystal Lake society in the mid-to late 1940's.
In 1952, aged six, he first came to Camp Crystal Lake. He considered the lake his home. The outdoors seemed to breathe new life to Jason. He loved the camp; the cabins; the barn; and the bridge; and the lake.
He would spend his time watching the campers and counsellors swimming. He hated the water though.
It scared him.
Suddenly, Ray Christy, six, pushed Jason in the lake. He screamed; he struggled. Then, Pamela Sue Voorhees, then twenty-two, punished the boy-and rescued her son.
This was the beginning of the antagonism between the Voorhees' familly and the Christy family.
