In 1955, aged nine, Jason watched two campers have sex in his shack.
He grabbed a small hammer in his right hand.
And this was what happened:
"Do you think we'll be caught?" Betty Grimes, 13, asked her boyfriend George Pall, also 13.
"No" George answered.
"But..." Betty said.
"Shut up!" George looked around.
The shack had a mat. And a black curtain was closed. The window was open. A cold, biting breeze came from the lake.
George undressed.
He was about to kiss Betty when Jason whacked him over the head. Hard! Six more blows followed; loud, violent blows.
George slumped down-dead.
Blood was everywhere.
Betty screamed.
But Jason whacked her with the hammer too. She died next to her boyfriend. More blood spilled. He then dumped the woods.
For decades their bodies weren't found.
They were considered missing by their families.
They were the first victims of Jason Voorhees.
But not the last.
