"Yeah..And they still haven't caught the guy who killed her..The very last words she said to him was 'Jesse Rutherford'.

I gathered up my books and headed for class. "And who's Jesse Rutherford?", I asked curious.

"Same thing the cops are trying to find out", replied Taylor.

We walked into class together, and greeted the teacher, Mr.Banks. He nodded and gave us a small smile. We took our usual seats in front. As usual, we were the first ones in class. We continued our conversation on this Rutherford guy.

A few kids started piling in, so we had to cut our conversation short.

I went through my uneventful day peacefully and quietly, as always...That is until last period; English.

I walked in, tired from the rest that I had skipped last night by keeping watch to make sure that the third party that was in the house with us wouldn't harm Kevin.

Being one of the kids that come to class early and having no one to talk to, I immediately sat down and began to go over my notes for the upcoming Test.

The bell rang and in came many kids, along with their useless chatter. I did not bother to look up. I didn't expect anything out of the usual to happen.

A couple minutes after the bell rang, The door opened once more. "Probably just a tardy student", I thought.

It wasn't until that I heard a deep, unfamiliar voice that I looked up.

Lo and behold! There stood Tyler Oakley, talking to Mr.Gabriel, then handing him a yellow pass.

I stared at them. Mr.Gabriel had a sympathetic look on his face and Tyler had a slightly wretched look on his face, opposite of what he had earlier in the hallways.

After they were finished, Tyler turned and faced the class. He seemed to be searching for a place to sit. Many students had a shocked look on their faces. Some were sympathetic while others looked at him lustfully. Mostly girls stared at him with lust visible in their hungry eyes.

Once Tyler's eyes landed on me, they widened a little and he smirked slightly.

He began walking towards me. My heart started thundering in my chest and I truly believed that everybody could hear it. As he passed by my desk,I casted my eyes downward. A few inches behind me, I could hear someone sit down where the empty chair was.

I presumed it was Tyler. I could feel his hard gaze on me. My heart could not seem to slow this fast-paced beat it seemed to be creating. I don't know why I was scared, but I was.

"Of all the empty seats in the class, he chose the one closest to mine", I thought.

Mr.Gabriel began his lectures, but I could not hear a single word he was saying. I could hear him speaking but could not comprehend the words...It was as if he was miles away instead of a mere few feet. I shifted in my seat, uncomfortable under Tyler's glare.

I heard a deep chuckle behind me.

"He's doing this on purpose!", I thought. I swiveled slowly in my chair and narrowed my eyes at him.. He only winked and bit his lip. I rolled my eyes.

"Who does he think he is!?", I thought.

Finally, years later, the bell rang signaling I was released from my terrible sentence. I rushed out of the class, to my locker. Taylor, as usual was not there. She was probably doing an extracurricular activity, such as Drama Club.

I walked home with Kalyn, and like the rest of the school, the only topic she wanted to speak of was Tyler Oakley. She went on and on about how he good-looking he was and how he winked at her in Gym.
