Mark was silent as he watched them walk away. He felt relieved when Jack turned, smiled, and waved. He returned the smile and wave before both his hand and smile dropped and he said quietly

"Be safe..." He then saw William and Sam enter after them, far enough to not be seen or heard. He turned and walked towards the stairs slowly as he rubbed the back of his neck. He was getting annoyed with the crutch and for a moment thought about continuing on without it. Ethan gave him a look that told him he shouldn't, so he didn't. He sat down on the first step and sighed. 'I hope he is ok...'

Jack looped the sword around his waist and sighed a bit when he looked up. Rose had her arms linked with Christa and Lorlie as they talked and whispered. He kind of felt lonely since they were 3 girls and there isn't much he could relate to them on. He also had that bad feeling that they were being followed so he checked over his shoulder. He thought he saw something but when he paused to look he didn't see anything. He frowned a bit before he continued walking with the girls. Every once in a while he would turn back because he would keep getting that feeling or hearing steps or voices, but nothing was ever there. He had looked back for the fifth time, he saw something flash green. He wanted to go investigate but a scuffle ahead stopped him. Lorlie and Christa were all on the ground, Rose was being held by Felix and she was struggling to be let go.

"Jack, help!" She called for him, not even being able to reach out an arm. He was quick to draw the sword at his side and take three large, threatening steps forward.

"Ah, hello jack! Nice to see you again. Last time i saw you, i do believe Mark had fallen out of the sleigh." Jack didn't say anything to him as he raised the sword a bit.

"Let the girl go." He ordered.

"You are in no place to give orders!" Felix told him as he gripped rose tighter, even pointing a finger to the two girls on the ground.

"Actually, it looks like i do, since i have a sword."

"And i have magic, magic that i can use to kill these girls!"

"But you won't, because if you do, i will gut you like a fish." Felix grit his teeth a bit as he watched jack. Jack watched hi back with the sword still in position. "Now are you going to fight or run like the rat you are?" Felix tossed the poor girl to the side before he got a sword of his own to fight with. Jack finally realized that it wasn't just them five, Felix had soldiers with him. The men looked at each other for a moment before they attacked. Felix was the first to fight, slashing to the left but metal clanged together as Felix blocked the attack. It was his turn to swipe at jack but the Irishman dodged with ease and swung again at him. they went back and forth, metal hitting metal. They didn't touch each other at all for quite a while. The girls had tried to run away in the beginning but were caught by guards and were forced to stay. Once Felix got near the girls, he turned the sword on them. "You coward."

"Why am i a coward? I'm just using my leverage."

"You threatening three girls who can't defend themselves instead of fighting a man who can."

"I just was, and it was getting us no where."

"I thought it was."

"Don't get mouthy with me boy. Now, your going to do something for me because if you don't i will slit their- oof!" Rose had some how managed to get her shoe off and throw it at Felix, distracting him long enough for Jack to come over and pin him to a wall with the sword at his throat. Felix's sword skidded away and a soldier picked it up in hopes to give it back to him to fight again.

"You are going to leave, with your soldiers. Understand?"

"And why would i do that?"

"I think you know the answer to that, considering the sword at your throat." Felix glared at him for a moment.

"We're leaving!" He told the men he came with. They all got into march formation and started leaving. He didn't let go of him for a moment. "What, do you have a question for me?" Jack just shook his head and tossed him to follow. He watched the soldiers go and once they were out of sight, that was when Jack went to the three girls, putting the sword back in it's sheath.

"That was too easy Jack. I don't think we should go." Rose told him nervously.

"Yeah, your right Rose. We will have to work on something else..." Jack motioned the girls over. "Let's go back to the tree." They nodded as they walked to Jack. Rose clung onto his arm but he didn't stop her. He knew she had been scared and he was comfort right now. Lorlie and Christa both walked a few inches behind, talking quietly about what just happened.

Mark was pacing, hands behind his back and head held low in worry. Sam was already there with William, a bit shaken up bit fine other than that.

"I should have seen it coming. Why wouldn't Felix attack them on their way there?" Mark turned and started pacing the other way.

"Mark, you made a mistake. It's not that bad." Ethan told him. He was sitting on the stairs next to Tyler.

"It kind if is." Tyler looked at Ethan as Mark rubbed his face.

"If something happens to him I will never forgive myself."

"If something happens to him than he will just wake up in bed."

"Yes, but that is after we put him there. What if there is a time where we don't have him back there? What would happen?"
