We knew that we had to talk to the chief.
We got to work and knocked on his office door. He yelled out "come in..." We walked in " hey chief!" Chief looked at us "Dawson...Shay what can I do for you?" I looked at him " I have some things to tell you or I guess we do." He looked at us " what is it?" I looked at him " I'm leaving 51..." He looked at me " what? why?" I looked at him " I'm pregnant!" He looked at me " Gabby oh my thats great news!" I looked at him " it was a shock but i'm excited but I have to leave 51..." He looked at me " but 51 is your home... I cant let you go!" I looked at him " well Chief theres something else..." I grabbed shay's hand " Shay and I were dating. and I just don't think it would be best if we stayed in the same house working together..." He looked at me " I understand but do know we will miss you." I nodded " I know... but house 27 isn't far I'm just waiting a few weeks for my transfer to go through and my doctor has advised me about stopping working 7 months 8 months in so we will see."
