I wasn't happy about Leslie wanting to work until the 30 week mark of her pregnancy, but then I remembered what I was like. I remember being very pregnant and still wanting to go out there. I remembered what a rush it still. I remembered how much I still wanted to be useful. The only thing now was that we couldn't go out together. We were married so we were on separate ambos.
Shay was laying on her bunk. I walked into the bunk room closing the door shut behind me.
I kissed her and didn't let go. I smiled " I love you!" She smiled " I love you too babe!"

I looked at her " babe!" She looked at me " the baby's kicking!" I smiled " can I feel." She nodded " of course!" I smiled " I remember what that felt like with Mateo!" She smiled " it's kinda comforting." I nodded " it is"
