Baby boy is about 15.7 inches long now and weighs almost 3 pounds which is about the size of a large cabbage. A pint and a half of amniotic fluid surrounds him, but that volume will shrink as he gets bigger and takes up more room in the uterus. His eyesight continues to develop, though it's not very keen; even after he's born, he'll keep his eyes closed for a good part of the day. When he does open them, he'll respond to changes in light but will have 20/400 vision – which means he can only make out objects a few inches from his face.

We had an appointment today. Shay couldn't make it so it was just me and Matt. He picked me up and we drove there together. We got in, signed it, got called to the exam rooms. I did my usual. I got back In with the doctor. The doctor did the ultrasound " we saw his arms, legs moving around. He was very squirmy. It was like he was excited to be seen. His heart beat was strong. The doctor said he look perfectly healthy.

She looked at us " so I know Gabby we have talked about your birth plan... but you due date is approaching and I just want to re-visit." I nodded " I still don't want to have any drugs... I want a natural delivery." She nodded " and we will do the best to give that to you... but in the emergency of a c-section we will have to give you an epidural and just think of that possibility." I nodded " ok..."  She looked at me " and your still stoping work at 35 weeks.." I nodded " I think so... the job is taking a toll." Matt looked at me " then stop now..." I looked at him " no 35 weeks is it... I can handle 5 more weeks. She looked at me " well ok  I'll get your ultraosund  pictures and I'll let you guys talk..."

I looked at Matt " I just wanted you to know that I want you in the room with me..." Matt looked at me " you sure..." I smiled "yes... you kidding your the dad!" He looked at me "ok.." I smiled " it will just be you and Shay in the room." He looked at me " whatever you want... I'll stand by you."
