Secret Garden

She was standing in a courtyard of flowers, where the old willow tree sat near his mother's favorite roses. He'd never allowed anyone- save Sean, inside his mother's garden before but he showed her, because she was special and because he was falling.

She laughed, smiling at him as she danced with a basket full of flowers in one hand. Owen had never seen anyone so beautiful before, it struck him speechless. He was irrevocably and utterly enamored.

"You love her, don't you?" Sean stated as he quietly joined Owen on the bench. Sang was crafting a crown of flowers and he smiled fondly at her.

"Was it that obvious?" A rare smile appeared on his lips and for once in his life, Owen did nothing to hide it.
