Nathan shivered in the December cold as he approached Kota's house. The evening sun had just set and instead of being in bed with Sang wrapped up in her warmth, he was braving the cold to see what Gabe wanted.
Kota's house was dark and the lights were off when he got there but the garage door was open. He peered in, annoyed at having to be away from his peanut and wondering what the hell Gabe was up to when a huge cardboard Santa Claus greeted him. There was a makeshift cardboard sleigh and even reindeers with Rudolph at the forefront.
He could just barely make out Gabe's ripped jeans from behind the huge Santa Claus as he carried it over to a familiar-looking bike. His brows dipped in confusion, and then horror.
"You didn't." He stated, staring at the scene in front of him.
Gabe popped his head out, grinning from ear to ear as he set the large Santa cardboard next to North's bike. "Oh, I did...I so very much did."
"You do know he's gonna kill you once he finds out, right?" He said, shaking his head as Gabe began tying the cardboard to North's bike. God, he even had Christmas lights attached!
"That's if he finds out. Which he won't, but if he does, I'll just sic a pouty trouble on him and be done with it." Gabe replied, waving him off. Sang could tame any beast by batting her cute little eyelashes and pulling out her trembling lip.
Nathan sighed, before coming to a decision. "I'm so going to regret this," he said, shaking his head for the umpteeth time.
By the time they were done and North's bike looked like a walking Christmas ornament, Nathan was dead-beat tired and all he wanted to do was avoid North's fuming anger and curl up with Sang.
But Gabe, he looked entirely too smug as he stared at his handy work.
Later, North wondered why his bike was all the way at Kota's. The others were all busy doing who knows what and Mr. B looked as if he knew something but of course he wasn't gonna say shit.
He shook his head, opening the garage door since Gabriel mentioned he'd left it open for him. But then he promptly lost all his shit once he saw the abomination that was his bike. He stared at it in a mixture of horror and shock, circling it slowly.
"That motherfucker..." he snarled, dragging a hand down his face tiredly. "Damn it, Gabe! He even put those damn annoying lights on them!"
Elsewhere, Gabriel snickered to himself quietly as he watched North freak out on the feeds. He nearly lost it and choked on his own spit when the dolt actually got on the bike and began riding it!
"Payback's a bitch, Gabe! Remember that because your dead meat once I catch you!" North bellowed as he threw up the bird to the hidden camera in the garage.
And that was his cue to avoid any and all contact with the beast. But he had to pat himself on the back, Luke would be oh so proud.
