Hey gals and guys!

This update is going to be a little different. Instead of just writing a poem about something and not telling you exactly what the inspiration was, I'm going to write a poem inspired by a quote. I'll write the quote at the beginning of the chapter so you know what it is. Just so you know, I'll try to find out exactly who the quote is by, but I can only be as accurate as google :) . And, if I get five votes on this chapter I'll do another post like this.

Alright, here it is!

Quote:

"To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world."

-- Bill Wilson

Poem:

I understand that I'm only me

The girl that hides behind shadows

And whispers to keep herself company.

I'm just the girl that keeps quiet to herself,

Looking for meaning in everything

And dreaming of changing a world.

I understand that I'm just this girl, the only person I'll ever be.

And you are you.

The boy with a bounding spirit but a shy soul.

The boy that already fits but doesn't realize it.

You have this confidence

But also a wall.

You're This kid that laughs and masks his hurt.

You are you, and I try to realize this too.

And I know it's odd to dream of touching the Earth

But you seem to do it too.

Clearly we're nothing special.

We don't think we'll ever be a hero,

We don't think we'll leave a mark.

This just proves humans are even more naive.

You know that thought you left on his mind?

You know that hope you put in her heart?

You know how you could see through his mask?

You know that glisten you put in her eyes?

That was enough to change a world.
